  1. With driving and on green regulation stats as good as that – yet not winning a load of majors, his putting must have sucked.

  2. This is so encouraging to me. I just started playing golf last fall and I cannot extend my left elbow due to shattering it falling 3 stories through a warehouse. The doctors replaced my elbow with metal and silicone but the scar tissue limited my arm extension by 15°. This is the first time I’m hearing of Calvin Pete, so thank you for posting this #NoExcuses

  3. I too have a deformed left arm after breaking it in an accident. My problem is the way it broke. The bend is in the front so staying on plane is very difficult. Not impossible but not easy!

  4. Imagine hearing Tiger labeled as "One of the best black golfers the game has seen." – like, yeah it's true, but having that qualifier is simply unneeded and in very poor taste. This video makes it seem like Calvin Peete is not a great golfer in his own right, and is only worthy of note if we are talking strictly black golfers that have been on the tour… Might as well have said "One of the best Black, disabled, golfer of his generation" Like wtf…

Edit: FFS he lead GIR for a decade, against all races…

  5. I watched Calvin play 9 holes in a practice round with Jack at Augusta, in a downpour, so the greens were dart boards. On 12 and 16, the two par threes, he literally landed the balls within INCHES of the cup on both. Unbelievable.

  6. Someone commented on the creator of this video mentioning Calvin's race and brought up Tiger Woods.
Funny how his mom is Thai, his dad was a mulatto, but Tiger is "black." Make it make sense.
