Hi Stuart …being an advocate of the strong grip since finding your channel, I have lowered my handicap from 16 to 12 in a short while.. I couldn't understand why sometimes I start hooking during a round …think you have just explained it …cheers bud …keep up the great content …Best on YT bar none👍👍
Once again adding another layer to understanding.Dewiz and Tour Tempo suggest swinging back faster in 3-1 ratio which supports your one side of pattern . Seems we get pieces and parts of golf swings and you are closing gaps of missing pieces. I could never feel the top of my backswing so no intuition to pulling- now got some options😮
This explains a lot in reference to different length clubs. Occasionally will see left with short clubs and the occasional right with the driver. The fox has been as you described. Great stuff. Was going to throw out a friendly wager on the Ryder Cup the other day to you and Simon. 4-0! Glad I kept my mouth shut! Take care.
Little talked about in coaching, beyond it being said that everyone’s is different and personal. Although I’ve seen a few people using music or
Devices that produce a beat to help regulate a tempo, what do you reckon, beyond reciting Seve?😂❤
Really love all these tips. Gives you something to think about when trying to shape the shot. Really appreciate the content Sir!
Another great video, Stuart. Interestingly, I’ve read or watched in many places that said you should take the club back fast if you want more speed. I’ve tried this in the past and my tempo was thrown off. I’ve also tried taking it back slowly and it threw off my tempo as well. So I “feel” as if I’m taking it back fast and making a big turn and letting the club fall via gravity then accelerating when my arms get about waist high. I don’t know if that’s what I’m really doing, but it “feels” that way. That’s the tempo I use, and as you said, everyone has a slightly different tempo. The important thing is to find your own. Cheers.
You’re a freaking genius 💪🏼
Great video. Being a hooker I never knew why I played better with a slower take away until now. Thanks. 👍
Superb 👏🏻
Stuart… I have a question that has nothing to do with this video, but I've been following you over the past month and a half, and love your instruction… I'm curious as to your thoughts on what is says about my swing, that when I narrow my stance significantly, I strike the ball much better. so much so, even hitting farther, by a decent margin too. Talking Irons mostly.
@Stuart – love this video – i am a chronic hooker with my irons and this has really helped with increasing my AoA thru the proper tempo!
