You need to try Sub 70
From a scale 1-10 , it feels like all clubs you test is between 9,5-10.
Depends on where you live in the US James regarding weather. I live in the Pacific NW which is pretty similar to the UK for weather. I love my PXG 7 wood. I don't feel all that comfortable with longer irons, never really have, but the 7 wood became a weapon for me last winter!
I mostly use my Callaway Big Bertha Fusion 2-iron that I have had for over 20+ years. I am going to get that club you have and try it out! Love your videos!
I think I might need to add a driving iron to my bag.
I have both 3 and 5 callaway b21 hybrids and they’ve been so consistent for me
I have kept a PING G410 3 Crossover (bent to 19*) in my bag for the last four years for exactly the same reason my friend. I tend to get approximately 190 yards of carry out of this club, which is good for a 75 year old, and it is a solid alternative off the tee for the two or three narrow 350 to 360 yard holes on almost every course I play. It is worth a spot in my bag.
Driver I don't lose many balls
I got fitted for, and snagged, a custom built by PXG Gen4 driving iron on closeout for $120 a few months ago. Looks like they might be out of them now, though. What a steal. For those of us who like a thinner sole, PXG driving irons are incredible. Absolute missile launchers.
My go to is the PXG Gen 5 3 hybrid. I can carry it 240-250 with ease and it’s a fairway finder
I tend to default to my G430 18° hybrid. Flies average 235-240 and more often than not goes where I tell it to, which is something of a rarity in my game 😂
I love my Krank Formula Fire XX of the tee. With Fujikura Speeder Light Tour in Senior flex. Not USGA conforming but gives me that extra yardage to keep up with my younger playing buddies.
Please review a pinhawk 2 iron.
They sell the heads for $50 on value golf.
The first place I look for clubs is golf clubs for cash it always has a good selection 👍.
@jamesrobinsongolf, you are killing me with those Copper Takomo's. I already reached out to them to get notice when they are released.
Well done James 👏 😊
That is a bargain price for that PXG driving iron
It’s a real shame Golf Clubs 4 Cash don’t have a practice net to hit into. I recently visited the store but didn’t want to fork out for a club I haven’t had chance to hit!
PXG are terrible for holding onto their price. Hardly anyone seems to be buying second hand PXG clubs so the price just plummets.
No winter golf where I live there will be 2 feet of snow on the ground before you know it. Since I can't hit an anything lower than a 6 iron a driving iron is definitely not for me.
