  1. What's your favorite skate ad of all time? Both magazine & video ad?! Follow us on Instagram @shredzshop @leviswitzer

  2. Great list here. The shorty’s ad campaign with Rosa was my favorite for all the wrong reasons but that Nike ad campaign was brilliant.

  3. The Blind Dear George ad was in reaction to the Powell ad with Tony Hawk, Lance Mountain, and Ray Barbee satirically representing small, skater-owned companies called Scum Skates, Bad Person, and I forget the other fake brand. That’s the one that pissed off Rocco.

  4. Have you thought about getting Satan's Drano to sponsor the comment of the week?

  5. I liked Consolidated ads. They spent all their money saying "Nike = bad" instead of running a dope skateboarding company.

  6. Back in the 70s Mike Weed pro skater came out with an ad said my weed is legal him holding his wheel up in thE background was a cop to this day that ad is still in my head ? Ya I'm old it in Skateboarder magazine

  7. The grind king ad from 1999. it said something along the lines of, this isnt the only thing youll be gridning this summer and it was a picture of a womans vag 😅😅, that ad got me laid cause i showed it to my neighbor and she said…well…i guess they're right and i was confused for a second 😅😅 afterwards, i was not. We banglaged the whole summer

  8. Nike from what I remember, wasn’t a failure because of the inferior shoe design, it was because most skaters at that time had brand loyalty to skate companies not corporations. The quality of skate shoes in the late 90’s to mid 2000’s was excellent with a ton of variety.

  9. I always thought that the Toy Machine ads were the best. All of the subtle details in every ad kept me looking at them for so long.
