The Colts lost to the New Orleans Saints on Sunday and dropped to a record of 3-5. The season looks bleak and this season it is because of the defense giving up a ridiculous amount of points. In this video we’re talking about Tony Brown, Gus Bradley and making sense of what happened in the Saints game.

Indianapolis Colts defense gets EMBARRASSED once again and have no answers for Saints

  1. Defense sucked today, no doubts about it. Hard to not happen when you have 7th string CB out there getting burned by my 4yr old nephew

  2. The Colts had a better record at this stage last year than we do this year. Reich correctly got fired. Giving up 39, 37 and 38 points in 3 straight games indicates it is time for Gus to go. Additionally, it has been CLEAR for 3 weeks we needed to bring in at least an average CB. Imagine if we hadn't given away Gilmore for a 5th? We would be 5-3 or 6-2 with that single change alone. Ballard has intentionally left the cupboard bare meaning this team is NOT trying to win in all ways and phases. If 3 wins were worth a 5th round pick, we have the wrong frigging GM!

  3. Man I wish Steichen would just run the ball on every play unless Garner is forced to throw it just so you people that think they're going to win by doing so would find out its not gonna work. That defense is not getting enough pressure on opposing QB's and the secondary is getting their butts kicked. Yes could have ran the ball a little bit more but it very doubtful that would have changed the outcome of this game. They just don't currently have the talent necessary in the secondary to win alot of games.

  4. I don’t quite put it on Gus yet. He’s missing a top 2 nose tackle, got his #1 corner traded away, new #1 gets cut for gambling, new #1 ruptured Achilles, new #1 quad injury, new #1 was our 5th stringer. I think people need to chill and wait for us to get pat surtain. Him and juju outside will be fire. (Kenny Moore is a beast but slot corner is more Lb / Cb hybrid). But Gus doesn’t build the roster, so who plays for the team isn’t much of his choice. And I think this is more of a personnel issue rather than scheme.

  5. No blitzing, Carr has all day. We pressured him early and got a strip sack!? The only way to help our DBs is to pressure the QB into mistakes. Why can't the Colts find an aggressive defensive coach?

  6. Pack warm it's a little chilly up here this week. Man I'm still sore that we kept Brown and released Rush. There is zero chance Brown is better than Rush. I'm willing to bet Rush would of been alright on special teams also. I'm super frustrated with Gus. How about blitzing every once in a while? I'm to the point of just trading away Moss and Cox. I'd say Moore, but we would be the laughing stock of the league then.

  7. Let's talk about Ballard for a second. His eye for talent on defense is terrible, look at all the pass rushers and corners he's missed on since 2017 in the draft, too many to mention. When he left the chiefs, they got better on defense and won Superbowls. Also, he didn't draft Mahomes, he was already gone by then. He was on that chiefs staff the year they collapsed against the colts in the playoffs. Who did that chiefs defense remind you of?🤔The colts D under Ballard, can't rush the passer, can't get off the field on the 3rd down but occasionally can get a turnover. That's exactly what happened to the chiefs in that playoff game. Everywhere Ballard has been it's the same defense and he's never aggressive enough in free agency. If I were Irsay I'd be begging him to spend my money to make the team better. Also, why not put cross on the field and play with 3 safeties, he can't be worse than Baker or Brown.

  8. We run an archaic defense that only works if you have elite pass rushers, corners, and linebackers which we don't have.

  9. I liked Tony Brown better when I didn’t know his name…there has to be a guy that’s stocking shelves at a grocery store or working at Home Depot that’s better than 38 or 39 smh

  10. Colts are not a playoff team !? D backfield is a disaster we still need a QB Richardson not a durable player !?

  11. I'm not a huge Gus fan but the defense is really missing many players that were expected to be here this year. Now losing Grover for 6 games is a big blow. Losing Rodgers and Brents at CB is also a problem. You can pick on Tony Brown all you want but when your down to that level in your depth chart, you're going to get beat. Baker looked just as bad earlier this season, and its likely he would have looked as bad yesterday, then you'd be on here calling for giving Brown a chance.

  12. "If ifs and buts were candy and nuts, we'd all have a Merry Christmas" stop it with the “if AR was playing.” He ain’t. He finished one game. Let him finish 2 in a row and then nominate him for Saint hood.

  13. The defense has the exact same issue as last year, when healthy the run defense is decent, pass coverage is abysmal, plays soft zone 90% of the time and gives away yards.

  14. I have always thought Bradley was a fraud. I have always referred to him as General Gustafer Milton Bradley. Lol
