You must have some incredibly strong feelings about this.

I remember Garrett saying something about a sponsorship he regretted having on his channel (didn’t mention the name, but I assume it to be draft kings) bc it didn’t align with his values, and here we are…

  3. DandierChip

I do find it a little unsettling considering a majority of their audience is middle school/high school.

  4. luvyduvythrowaway

Who cares. Especially BDS, their target audience is 30+.

  5. feelings_inc

It’s different now cos of the dick riding.

  6. incredibles3

Lol imagine telling someone who is running a business not to have a partnership with a gambling site because of their audience.

  7. Burt-Sampson

Huge difference. Micah and grant act like they were above that, grat doesnt

  8. I see authorities determined citizens in US not mentally developed enough to gamble until 21 yo. But you can be drafted and give your life, but criminal to buy ammo for your issued M16 in 12 states in the US. 18 state’s minimum drinking age 21 yo. I’m glad we are a country of free citizens where religion is not the driving force behind legislation. Mandatory die for your country but no drinky, ammo, or heavens forbid lay a dime on “Bite Me Momma” at Santa Anita.

Again folks, I don’t give a shit what Garrett does with his business because it’s just that, his business.. Just like it was Grant/Micah/BDS business when they did it. I asked “what say you?” if you’re somebody that had a problem with it when those guys did it, do you have a problem with it when Garrett does it? This post is not an indictment on Garrett, although I do kind of feel like he threw some shade at channels promoting gambling a while back, but I can’t remember when or where so I’m not going to hold that against him.

Bustajack are allowed because it is so perfectly on brand.

  12. FabulousShop3917

Probably not the best considering their audience. But we don’t know the analytics, maybe the majority are over 21. If this is the case then fuck it, they can make money how they like

I grew up in the 80’s and 90’s. We had ads way more blatant regarding a whole range of stuff like alchohol, tobacco etc. We all turned out ok.

Not sure why these days the answer is ban and censor so quickly. The sad thing is that this reaction is normal now and nobody cares about how strict society is now on everything. It’s weird tbh.

  14. esalvatico

Have any of you guys realized they do what they do because they get paid to advertise things? Maybe G likes to to gamble now (he is a 20+ dude) and who fucking cares. Grow up.

I personally think it’s fine to promote, sports leagues themselves who have a large young audience have huge partnerships with online sports books and promote it heavily.

Also just an aside I can’t speak for others but if I had the opportunity, fame ,fortune ,women these guys got I would have had a lot of fuck ups and honestly I think they have done a pretty damn good job handling it and have generally kept the main thing the main thing.

  16. BenignAndAHalf_

What say I? I say you guys are too invested in good good. He probably got offered so much fucking money for this and I’m sure 99% of you would accept this deal in a heartbeat. Is it morally right? Maybe not but if someone offered you enough money to buy a new house you wouldn’t even think twice.

  17. Squatch-21

BDS podcast openly talks about them gambling. Their audience is completely different.

  18. sammyt10803

The people who clutch their pearls about gambling are always the people who have no issue with ACTUAL issues in the world like racial/gender hatred, gun violence, etc
