Excessive Sway is an exaggerated lateral movement towards your trail side in the backswing. If you are excessively swaying you may be missing out on some power & efficiency in your swing! .
Drill #1: grab a chair or a counter top, position your trail hip beside the chair. Test out your backswing… do you hit the chair with your hip? If you do – try to turn ↩️ into your backswing leaving a gap between your hip and the chair
Drill #2: Screw your trail foot into the ground ↩️ on the backswing, allowing the trail hip to turn↩️, feel the power and load you have created into your trail side 💥
