ABOUT DANNY
———————–
Thanks for stopping by. I created this website as a resource just for you to support you on your golfing journey as I know how tricky learning this game can be…to say the least!
I personally found learning the game too long and difficult in the early days. I read all the books, watched all the videos but my game was not improving. Then after studying various forms of neuro science, motor learning, psychology and personal development in less than two years I went from struggling golfer to the final stage of the Open Championship.
On YouTube and my personal website (www.dannymaude.com) I will bring you the most up to date training, training that is getting tangible results for my clients right now. I don’t know where you are in your golfing journey, you could be just starting out or maybe your body isn’t as flexible as it once was or you’ve got ambitions to slash your handicap. Wherever you are I’ve created a place here you can learn, share your ideas, ask questions and get all the support you need to enjoy this great game.
Be prepared though. If it’s a quick fix you are after Im not your man. Here I will give you step-by-step advice that you can take straight to the practice ground and apply to the course but it will require you to get stuck in, screw up…a lot, practice some more and then watch those scores tumble
I’ve had the pleasure of coaching thousands of students all around the world and if you are up for the challenge and are ready to get in the game…LETS GO TO WORK!

This golf lesson provides a couple of wonderful drills to help you hit your driver straight. If you are a beginner golfer and are looking for some golf driver tips that are simple and easy to do then you are going to love this.
I will show you the golf swing slow motion so that you can see what you need to do to improve.
We look at 3 things:
1. How to stop slicing your driver
2. How to swing more in to out or how to swing more inside out
3, How to get the correct impact position with driver
and I hope to do all this with simple golf tips so you can create an effortless golf swing

Great video Danny (again!!!). You did one for driver that was similar, as far as moving the ball slightly back and tilting the driver face a bit left. I've been looking for it and cannot find it. Any chance you could re-post it or reply with a link? Would appreciate it. Keep up the good work and, have a good golfing week!
That explains so much! That gives me new confidence in my natural draw swing, now I know I don't need to fight it.
Great lesson I’ve got to try it
Brilliant Danny! I was hitting the ball cleanly but always way to the left. THANK YOU!
Following the same logic. When we hit a driver the low point is behind the ball so the natural circle will bring the end of the swing to the left . Does it mean we have to hit the ball to the right to have the ball straight?
25k views – no one knows this 😀
Hi Danny, this is great and it is working when we want to hit a nice draw. However, at certain point in the game we might want to hit a fade. Does everything stays the same with little tweak or is it completely different feeling ?
That’s an absolute golden golf gem. Thank you Danny
Danny I struggle with ball placement. Although I can hit my irons and woods fairly consistently, I do do so by having the ball placed way back in my stance. When I try to move it forward as per this video I never have any luck. How about a video to help with this problem.
Really love it Danny. One thing is unclear to me. In the video you explain that the clubface (iron) is open during setup and that you first close it and then grip the club. However, you only explained this once. You did not mention this again on your other shots. Did you continue to do this or did you close the clubface by turning knuckles down before impact? Thank you!!
As the famous Harvey Penick would say "line up with short stop, hit to second base."
Now we know why Danny has over 1 million subs. 🤜
He gives a problem that the golfer didn’t know, then he offers a solution to that problem.
Then adds the other wrong thinking we all do is try to hit it strt.
Especially if we line up in the middle of the tee box. Now we just made the fairway half as big vs if we can work it.
This is very similar to what Ben Hogan teaches on ball position at setup. Ben has an open stance with short irons which moves the back in the swing arc. His stance moves incrementally from open for short irons to slightly closed for driver.
Great video this week Daniel. The way you explain the correct swing motion from first principles and the ensuing ball trajectory are very comprehensive, i.e., simple yet captures only the important parts of the swing theory. Other online instructors tell this same story in different ways but not as comprehensively as you. Probably because you still teach students and are better aware of the pitfalls they may fall into when trying to incorporate your swing suggestions. It must be a challenge with the growing demands of online instruction business, continuing with instructing students in person but suggest you don't stop. Well done.
Danny, Can you explain the position of each club using this method and would be the same for wedges i.e. slightly closing the face.
Thank you
Very interesting. If I apply the concept to a driver, I should open the club face little bit at address. Do I understand correctly? I have been closing the club face to draw the ball.
Really great Danny. I’ve understood the club path bit for a while. But your imagery of the shaft contacting the bag has made a huge difference in the quality of the strike! A bit more prone to pulls/pull hooks. Perhaps a club face adjustment at setup? Thanks for all the help.
You're it for me! I'm always excited to play golf after moments with your wonderful videos! I can't believe I'm 87 and still challenge myself with fitness and GOLF! I'M SO LUCKY Danny…thanks so much. Barb
Great lesso.
