I will say this 4 scores stroke play is cool but not as cool as match play. And it was a bit anticlimactic this year. And there are some fundamental problems when a team scores better than another doing exactly the same thing but cannot beat them…very fed ex playoffsy, which isn’t good.
I heard you want 4 teams in the final, why?
Sunday I would rather see a match play final and consolation final and all the other 8 teams play stroke play for 5-12. But 4 sessions would be needed for that, and one thing I don’t LOVE about LIv is this marriage to 3 sessions.
That being said there is an even better option and only 3 sessions are needed:
First reward the regular season team champs a bit.
Then match play starts with the top 8 teams. Then 4. Then 2.
The bottom four can have two days of match play between them Saturday and Sunday to decide 9th-12th.
Everyone else would play consolation matches all the way to Sunday as well to decide 5th-8th.
I really hope they consider that.
One more thing how cool would 16 teams and 64 players be giving the option for perfect individual and team match play brackets, which can always be fit into 3 sessions with byes; and keep everyone playing until Sunday with tons of consolation matches.
Anyhow. I easily watched 90 percent of this season of LIv. It truly is so digestible. I feel like I’ve been a part of the whole ride, which is huge I think.
LIv will be missed till next season starts, but that’s yet another great thing about it isn’t it?
We will miss it.
They will make adjustments.
And next season will surely be better than the last.

Great finish to a great year for LIV golf, if Bryson can keep this form up going into next year then he will definitely win a major, him and Hovland have been the best players in recent months and it was a disgrace that Bry58n wasn't picked to play the Ryder Cup but it is what it is.
LIV should add a YouTube group on every tournament. it would help the YT channels as well as making the tour more popular across many social sites. it would also humble many amature golfers as well of giving them a group to cheer for. lets make this happen!!
DJ is going to have a conversation with his buddy Perez, as in, “I’m replacing you with a guy who can shot under par”. He scored 0 points in 50% of the seasons tourneys 0 points in each of the last 4 events and ended up 28th out of 48 players . If DJ wants to win he’s gotta drop Perez, or ship him to another team. After all it’s about winning the money.
Money wise it is great. Tournament legacy is non-existent. I presume 'most' of these players would give up liv in exchange for a Master/ US Open/ Open Champ/ PGA Champ trophies.
What an absolutely great way to finish off the year for the LIV GOLF LEAGUE!! And specifically the winners of the Team Competition…. DeChambeau's Crushers and the Individual Champion Taylor Gooch!! Lots of EXCITEMENT and FUN for all to be had. Also, CONGRATULATIONS to Greg Norman for all the hard work and SUCCESS of LIV GOLF LEAGUE in a relatively short time!! This has truly been a success for the NEW BUSINESS MODEL at LIV GOLF! Absolutely GREAT WORK BY ALL STAFF…. behind the scenes and on the broadcast desk. Best of luck in 2024!! 😎👍
