LIV Golf’s 2023 Individual Champion addresses the media on Sunday after the final round of the LIV Golf Team Championship at Trump National Doral in Miami, FL.
The American was one of LIV Golf’s most consistent performers in 2022, finishing inside the points in six of the seven regular-season points, with a season-best finish of sixth place in Boston. Gooch has two pro wins, with his most recent victory at Sea Island seeing him tie the tournament record of 22-under 260. He’s been a top-50 player since November 2021 and played for 4 Aces GC in the team’s four regular-season wins and Team Championship title. Talor’s name is intentionally Y-less thanks to a family custom on his mother’s side.
