  1. Beautiful craft – and that has been lost in modern golf. I always appreciate your appreciation for beauty and the presentation of a golf club. Is it possible that if more modern golfers saw golf skill as less of a distance game, then a new level of pleasure would come from truly beautiful, hand crafted clubs? Maybe that would add to an everyday golf outing – beauty and hand made craft.
What do you think a modern build of that club would cost? With the craft and materials and the necessary mark up, that driver would be off the scale in final price? Is that true?
Disclaimer – when we gather as a group to golf, the majority of my friends have vinatge clubs in the bag. I prefer some thrifted Hogan Starburst or a thrifted set of Tommy Armour , VFQ irons. And a Mac Gregor Louise Suggs persimmon Driver is golden for me. Golf is not my competitive sport and I am so happy for that – so I can fly vintage and be appreciative of the craft and apperance and performance.

  2. You seem to think you know a lot about vintage clubs but it's obvious you are getting bad info. That is not that bad an example of a persimmon driver. People used to put modern shafts and grips on older persimmon heads all the time. That head is probably a 7 out of 10.

  3. Scarcity drives the value of LFF's as a collector club. LFF is sometimes thought to stand for "Let the F…… Fly!" I don't buy the argument that it was viewed as a hackers club by those requiring a larger more forgiving face. Quite the opposite is true, the extra weight means you need a good powerful swing to get results; it is simply too much club for your average player. Your example doesn’t look too bad to me, nice club!

  4. TGIF!!! Oh my my!!! This is one beauty of a club! This so funny I've just started looking at these 3 days ago. Crazy. This baby looks new. Good stuff and thank you.

  5. Game improvement club snobbery helps me consistently take money from my friends on the golf course. They think they are too good for hybrids and game improvement irons while I’m playing JPX Hot Metal irons and carry 3 hybrids. I hope they never learn.

  6. If you don’t like the LFF and it’s not collectible, I’ll buy it from u. Let me know how best to contact u.

  7. Love your content. Just started buying/collecting. PLEASE clarify/explain, in a future video(s), the difference between good looking or refinished and collectable. It would really help many of us. Thanks.
