I followed Jonathan Byrd at the John Deere Classic about 15 years ago. He hit a drive on 15 (a long, tough par 4) that I will never forget. There was a stiff breeze. He teed it low, choked down an inch, and hammered it. The ball took off like a bullet and never got more than about 50 feet off the ground. His shotmaking was incredible.
