  1. i understand. ive put around 5 years into my own book so far and if one day i publish it and i find out it was popular id probably cry. but ill just be happy if it makes even one person happy. for writing is a passion of mine and i dont do it for the potential money i could get. i do it because i want to inspire others and to give people an escape from reality where they can get lost in the story of a fantasy.

because without books to get me out of my terrible childhood id not be here today.

  2. What a legend for writing a book at the same time as taking care of his family AND working a full time job

  3. So, that's the third short I've watched about people publishing their books late in life.

Is the YouTube algorithm telling me to get off my ass and get cracking. Or is it saying I'm never gonna stop procrastinating until I'm 60.😅

  4. This is what life is worth living. You’re doing something passionate.
Whether writing a book or painting, sculpting, building, making, creating, discovering, learning, etc.

You’re contributing to society not in a negative way.

  5. I’ve re read that book so many times it’s one of my favorites and now I know why I love it,it was made with love ❤

  6. OMGGG I BOUGHT THE BOOK AND I SWEAR I LOVED IT ITS ONE OF THE BEST HOOKS IVE EVER RESD I SWEAR I RECOMMEND IT ITS A MID 12/10 IM OBBSED WITH IT

  7. The vital understanding that most people appear to miss is that the real story that got sold was a girl's Father spent 14 years writing a book that no one bought. This story was promoted and captured the emotions of the audience. The actual story within the book likely was not promoted sufficiently enough or did not capture the emotions of the audience. It's also worth reading the 1 star and 2 star reviews by people who were emotionally touched by her daughter's video, as well as this YT shorts, then went ahead and bought the book. Not trying to reduce anyone's confidence. Just saying that there's more than meets the eye behind every story, and behind every tear drop, someone is making money.

  8. Not sure if this book will turn my gears but this is such a lovely story, so I’ll think I’ll add it to my bookshelf.

  9. I spent 10 years and after joining the military and deploying several times, divorcing and becoming a single pops of 4 I some kind of way took all those notes and doodles and published 6 books just last week. No real sales but man does it feel good. Like therapy

  10. The literary market is extremely over saturated. This guy's book must have been halfway decent to get any traction. Unless your a YouTuber / celebrity and you can just publish any old shite and get paid
