MBL A Season Austin Reley The Braves Season ✨🙌
As a Mets fan, this series makes me 🤢🤮🤢. I hope that this series goes 7 games and every player from both teams gets suspended from baseball forever leaving just the bat boys from both teams playing game 7
Austin Riley 💥💥💥
LFG!!!!!
That home run call was legit! A lot of enthusiasm
We shouldn't rely on just home runs
i saw this live and the ball came near me!
Four outs away from facing elimination
Not only did Austin Riley saved the series but possibly saved us from the sweep. That might be the spark to winning the NLDS. Our bats are awake and we the Mo (Momentum). I believe their will be a Game 5 in Atlanta. This time the Diamondbacks will have to sit and wait 3-5 days, as we did, going into the NLCS.
Dont forget he came big time on the defensive side as well for the last out😮💨🔥
What a beautiful swing.
Austin Powers 💪💪💪
This reminds me of the 92 Game when Sid Bream slid home to win the NLCS. A lot of the same vibes and electricity.
If you got 'em, smoke 'em! Acuña got it all started, but Riley smoked that bad boy!!!
🚬 🚬 🚬 🚬 🚬 🚬 🚬 🚬
I hate being a white sox fan. Watching the teams fire and the crowd losing there minds gives me chills in a way nothing else can. I hope both of these teams and fans realize how lucky they are to be in this moment year after year. Playoff baseball is magic
I knew he would hit the homer. I just felt it.
Here’s how I am pretty sure I felt it:
• Ronald Acuña Jr., who is currently the favorite for NL MVP, is on 3rd
• Ronald had just stolen 3rd base two pitches prior
• Also two pitches prior was a ball in the dirt
• Pitch prior was lower that wanted
• Full count, 2 outs, bottom of the 8th for Riley, who is in the heart of the lineup
• Braves are best team (record wise) in baseball
• Braves are at home
• Braves are down 1 game to none, so an out here would be a killer because the chances of a 2-0 lead by the Phillies, going to Philadelphia, would go way up
• Olson is on deck. He’s scary and has already gotten a hit
• All around high leverage situation for the pitcher
Anywho, I knew Ronald was gonna score. I had thought that, at the beginning, Riley was gonna shoot one to the right-centerfield gap for a double. However, once they got to a full count, I knew Riley was gonna homer. The pitcher has to challenge him because all Olson would need is a gapper to the wall for Riley to also score. And lo-and-behold, it happened.
Go Braves!
Also my thoughts that no one asked for on the final play: I understand Harper was being aggressive because the probability of that catch is really low, so he was thinking “if he doesn’t catch this I can score the tying run!” The problem is, he caught it. If I’m in harper’s shoes… or cleats, I suppose… I am running to second base, watching the ball, and if it’s a catch then go back to first. If it isn’t a catch, you go third and maybe a bad throw because of the pressure leads to you scoring. And we did see a bad throw. Michael Harris II threw the ball over his target, and if Riley wasn’t there, it would have been irrelevant and just a great catch.
Now we are playing! Let's get these bats going in game 3
Way to GO, Riley, and GO, Braves!!
