In this video, Mike Pitt teaches you his secret to the PERFECT takeaway. The 3 tips he goes over for the takeaway are 1) A Leverage Grip 2) Set Up and 3) wrist hinge in the takeaway. Many golfers find it hard to reach the set position (when the golf club is fully set) because many amatuers move their wrists isolated from the body’s turn. But in Mike’s example, he teaches you how to mesh those two together in order to have a perfect takeawy in minutes.

Always struggle with the club face getting too far outside my hands on the takeaway. Any tips would be great, thanks!
At first I thought; oh, here’s someone teaching the same things I’m seeing from Porzak. And then I realized…
This is the video I’ve been looking for. Thank you!
Bend from the hips sockets..not the waist!
First class, thanks.
Another amazing lesson, thank you !
Wow you explain it so professionally, you dont see things that you show in other tutorials. Never knew to press down on the butt. Your the go to pro
Mike has a great way for the club take away. I have thought about pushing the club butt toward the ground w the left hand. But Mike's protocol is quite clear and easy to follow. My shots tend to go right to the 1 oclock, is that because i did not turn the body fast enough.?
Why do all these guys do a bounce with their legs when they are explaining something
Great Tip … ill try it
Mike you always have amazing content in your video. They are simple and to the point, you should have so so much more subscribers. They are missing out
GP…great example left hand heel pad left shoulder leveage implementation and passive right achieving the wrist angle…like the grip and finger demo pressure points you used to demonstrate…excellent a must know …most appreciative thanks for sharing.
Solid explanation!
Thanks Mike for this video, it was really needed and so well presented. I’m subscribed and looking forward to more of your videos.

These videos are the best I’ve seen on YouTube. Keep it up Pitt. We appreciate it.
You're all over it my Man. I have only just discovered this.
This with a correct pivot ingrained will get me from a 20hcp to 9 within 12 months. I have even backed my self at my golf club.
Watch my progress!
BTW: Mr. Hogan was all over this.
fantastic explanation ! Thank you.
👍👍
Is this your new channel? Subbed by the way
Oh man. The hand technique. Pushing it down. That's the gem.
Effortless. Vs me " holding gripping lifting it. Thank you.😊
I'm watching this video again and with no doubt will watch it many more times!
This is priceless info: if I lived nearby to his facility my handicap would drop massively.
Thank you so much.
Grateful Aussie.
Great stuff. First drill definitely helps with “fishing” for position in the backswing 👏
Excellently communicated Mike this is the best take away lesson I have seen from anyone “ I’m sure you did a similar lesson when you were with Porzak Golf” the camera work is very good and helps clarify any ambiguities, keep them coming Mike yours and Adams teachings are in a league of their own.
I really like how effortless it felt when doing the third tip. I haven't put much attention into my grip until lately and I now realize how much it can change your game. Thanx for this useful video.
After watching Mike's video and applying his tips, I saw a noticeable improvement in my swing and overall performance on the course. It's rare to come across golf instruction that produces such rapid results, and I couldn't be more grateful for stumbling upon this video.
Excuse my language but holy sh*t!!! This was EXACTLY what I was getting wrong!! I’ve been able to zero in on basically everything else beautifully including my matchups with timing. But after doing exactly as instructed in this video and moving very slowly at first to really capture that leverage feel and that palm heel press, then slowly moving into progressively more complete swings guided by that feel, I have never executed more consistently pure strikes one after the other. HUGE THANKS!!!! I feel like I owe you money, LMAO!!! 🤑⛳️👍🏻😎👍🏻⛳️🤑
3:18, what is flying😂😂
