  1. First game was a near disaster — I tell u, Murray and Reilly HAVE GOT TO STOP MISSING SERVES SO MUCH. In the first game, alone, Murray and Reilly BOTH had 2 service errors each — that's as many as most players have in an entire match. And Reilly ended the match with FIVE SERVICE ERRORS — that ties Murray's 5 SE's a couple of matches ago — INSANE. I hope coach is giving them a good tongue-lashing by now, and he really should just sub-in someone else for a game, just to let Harper and Bergen know they're NOT indispensable.

  2. Major Kudos to Krause, who carried the team through that dreadful first set, and then through the rest of the match. She has REALLY been showing some next-level hitting prowess, and hitting with AUTHORITY. That spike at 1:05 was so dynamic and athletic, I mean WELL within the 10-foot line, what an angle, and with power. Coach talked about how she's been 100% engaged and committed to bettering herself in every way — well, IT SHOWS. Playing beach was probably a HUGE benefit to her, really developing strength and stamina, and challenging you to move and bend in ways you're not accustomed to in indoor. Good for her.
