  1. Dermot Gallagher is a total joke. How he was ever a referee is beyond the pail. HOWARD WEBB needs to go and the two useless VAR ‘officials’ should never be allowed near a football match, PL or amateur again.

  2. VAR was introduced into football to take away human error, you can stream any goal from every angle on YouTube an yet VAR can not even show a telling angle, you should start to check officials financial activity's, its not just the Liverpool game mistakes have been made, VAR decisions stink and should be investigated, THE WORLDS WATCHING

  3. @boykizito-Lfc4life:
IT WAS NEVER AN ERROR OR MISTAKE, IT WAS DELIBERATE/CONSPIRACY. THIS WASN'T THE FIRST TIME THEY'VE DONE THINGS LIKE THIS, GO AND VIEW OTHER LIVERPOOL MATCHES/GAMES AND JUDGE FOR YOURSELF. THE OFFICIALS ARE ALWAYS BIAS AGAINST LIVERPOOL FOOTBALL CLUB BECAUSE THEY ARE JEALOUS OF LIVERPOOL FOOTBALL CLUB. ALL THE OFFICIALS MUST BE SACKED AND NEVER OFFICIATE ANYMORE. THIS MUST BE A LESSON TO THE REST OF THE OFFICIALS AND VAR MUST BE ENDED. YNWA.

  4. What we need is the same offside system as the champions league and the world cup. Seems to work for both of those competitions, so why cant it be used in supposedly the "Best" league in the world. The refs are ruining the premier league, and there is a reason that the english refs are not used in the Big tournaments.

  5. Dermot Gallagher, the ref who avoided to explain why two Spurs handballs against Arsenal and Man United got two different outcomes

  6. Why do you talk to Dermot?!

He is part of the cult of dictators that are ruining the sport!

    Imagine talking about the "positives"?!.

Everyone at the PGMOL should be ashamed of their incompetence and what they have come to represent in the sport that we love so much!

    Bunch of dictators!!!

  7. Once again helps man city against Liverpool in a title race. Always the way and yet all
We here is city are to dominate yet liverpool second by 1 point twice and a number of apologies from refs 😂😂😂

  8. If Liverpool had won the game like that do you think Jurgen Klopp would have been making the same fuss? Not on your life. COYS.

  9. Wasn't just one mistake,it was all over tge Park.
Including jota first yellow card, when the player tripped himself up,and the ref said yellow card.

  10. The audacity of this man to come out and say we have to take the positives

What positives? What an absolute melt

  11. An "error of judgement" – this is how thick the officials are. It's not an error of judgement he obviously doesn't know what that phrase means.

Dermott Gallagher is clearly not the most intelligent of people – you can tell by the way he speaks or tries to cover up mistakes for refs each week. He can't even do that properly.

It was gross negligence. The only explanation is Darren England wasn't watching the match. What were the other people in the VAR room doing? Were they all watching another TV programme or chatting?

They are paid a fortune and he can't watch a monitor for 90 mins. It's hardly the most taxing job in the world.

The problem is referees now, are arrogant and have become too big for their boots.

They were better when they were amateurs.

  12. Refs doing matches in UAE and Saudi Arabi being paid massive amounts by those countries.
Those countries own two clubs in the PL and the FA,PL and PGMOL think that is ok?
    Total conflict of interests.
Greed is ruining the game at all levels. Owners, players, agents, the media, referees.

  13. There should never be an error in decisions which there is no subjectivity like offside. Should be correct every time

  14. With the ability to review multiple angles and slow motion, there should be NO errors in todays game.

  15. "He just made an error of judgement"

So did Cantona when he kung fu kicked a supporter
So did Di Canio when he pushed the referee over
So did Ivan Toney when he bet on a game

All the above were punished harshly for their 'error of judgement', what will happen to PGMOL?

    Absolutely nothing.

  16. Officials don’t want Var fact ! They should be held accountable and interviewed after the game just like players and managers !

  17. What a stupid argument, doesn’t matter about what happened in the past. We have VAR now. It’s clear the system failed due to the refs not actually watching the game properly. Release all the audio from inside the VAR room. Something fishy here.

  18. Look at Cricket, off field Umpire communication is amazing & transparent for any review.. learn from cricketing world.
In fact this game was setup for Tottenham. Massive corruption.

  19. What a load of crap from Gallagher as usual so why is the rugby a better standard of refeering? It's because the ref is in constant contact with the monitor and everyone can hear and see the replay.

  20. Dermot is talking rubbish there. Linesmen can put their flag up regardless now, incase he is offside. So he may well have not put his flag up unless he was sure he was offside. Which he wasn't.

  21. He just made a mistake is not good enough. Liverpool are the only side currently that go to the line with city, who have lost out to city 3 times to within 2 points. Apology not good enough. To the eye you could see onside, 2 reds neither which should be. Lines ate lines, draw them, to everyone's eye onside. Sackings needed sorry. If anything that is the first game I've said a replay is needed it was that biased and that appalling. No excuses from var or the ref. Not good enough.

  22. Look at th onana challenge on the wolves player. These people are cringeworthy to suggest any mistakes are made with all the technology on hand. Treat the teams who've lost out with respect not the incompetent refs.

  23. The Diaz goal didn't need lines to see if was offside. It was a dead cert. No excuses here Gallagher.

  24. Why didn't they relay the audio of the mccalister red too ! Another clear and obvious error

  25. VAR has made the ref, VAR ref, Assistant VAR ref and the other two refs in the VAR room look like incompetent, bungling idiots and Dermont Gallagher says nothing to see here!
No, this needs scrutiny and an intense investigation.

  26. 4 of them in that VAR room and nobody said anything when it was clearly onside as daylight they’re taking us for mugs. Blatant brazen corruption and match fixing

  27. Rubbish all being paid b the Saudi to bring the league into disrepute

  28. So why didnt he correct it 5 seconds later ???

Why didnt the var say "hey ref hang on that was onside!!!"

Just another cover up, they have a direct line to referee ffs

As usual refs WILL NOT admit to a mistake and over turn their own decision

  29. I’m convinced todays generation have been dumbed down by the internet. If people genuinely believe it’s corruption then it shows they spend too much time on their phones searching for wild conspiracy theories. Incompetence will happen regardless of the best technology, it’s just what humans do.

  30. "IF WE HAD NO VAR WE WOULDMT EVEN BE TALKING ABOUT IT"

YEAH BUT ….WE DO HAVE VAR! SO HOW CAN THEY STILL GET IT WRONG!

  31. Nobody has an issue with people making a mistake….we have an issue with the fact thry covered it up instead of just saying "hang on ref, go back and give the goal, we've got this wrong "

Why did they choose to just carry on with the rest of the game knowing that goal should have stood

  32. The only judgement taking place by Darren England and his assistant was the drawing of the lines to judge whether Luis Diaz was on side of offside. The failing came with a lack of communication and a lack of knowing what the on field officials had just decided on the field of play, which was a clear signal by the linesman for an offside (the raising of his flag) and the straight arm signal by the referee to suggest he was awarding a possible offside because of this. They wrongly assumed that the referee had given the goal which has nothing to do with judging anything or error of judgement. They wrongly assumed the goal was given which is still not an error of judgement but is a lack of attention to detail and a miscommunication with the referee as to what he was asking them to check. It has nothing to do with an error of judgement. I do not think Dermot understands what judgement means, as there was no error of judgement just gross miscommunication and a total lack of understanding, of what was being asked of the VAR officials and a painstakingly obvious lack of attention to what had immediately gone on prior to the query being asked of them. Still nothing go do with any error of judgement, maybe a grossly inept assumption on their part in thinking a goal was given when all indications by the on field officials said otherwise. Still no error of judgement in sight. Dermot get yourself a dictionary for Christmas and you will be able to put your points over more clearly even if they happen to be wrong or biased. Woeful lack of communication, Woeful misunderstanding of a situation and total mess up but nothing to do with an error of judgement. You should know better. Stevie P.

  33. Why have Gallagher on ,he's absolutely useless when it comes to clearing anything up.
This var issue has been going from the start.get rid until we can do it via AI.

  34. Liverpool should sue PGMOL if they miss out on European and or the PL title by 1 point. VAR NEEDS Artificial Intelligence to check and confirm human decisions made by VAR refs. Its quite silly in this day and age to allow humans that make mistakes often in the PL in most games. VAR has brought the game into disrepute in the PL. AI is the answer. AI runs many systems in our world today, it runs cities and other such things. VAR would be better with AI.

  35. I don't understand why a goal can't now be added to the scorline? Is football that backward?

  36. don't ask a former referee to comment on matters that are at the heart of it a question of natural justice. What happened was a miscommunication of a set of facts, not a "misjudgment" and the consequences of a miscommunication may have cost Liverpool a point or 3 points. The significance of that deserves more consideration than simply an acknowledgment of 'misjudgment'.

  37. They all knew it was onside just stop the game and give it as a goal simple they stop the game for other stuff
