Why didn’t the American players enter the BMW? It’s a premier event
This was just a golf vacation for Sack Johnson and a bunch of frat boys. Five weeks of no competitive play. The captain was a pxssy along with half the team.
I believe that Zack will go down as the worst captain in Ryder Cup history. He was totally out class by his opponents in every sense of the way from the speeches to the setting up of the locker rooms to the selections of Luke, Donalds players. It was embarrassing, as we basically made it an American road trip.
The Euros show up to play for the spirit and myth of Seve. The Americans show up for a boys club weekend, bitching they aren't getting paid. The Americans need to identify their own " win one for the Gipper" mythology. And no it's not Tiger.
Rory has got to be the biggest cry baby of all time!!! Bet if Joe was still Tigers caddy, Rory would have said nothing. Good for Joe!!!
If the American team was being paid on performance … they would owe the backers a Billion Dollars.

These two mention that nothing changed from the last Ryder Cup won by the US. Fact is European team played better. The Top 3 European players led by example. Had the US team miraculously pulled off the upset these two would not be whining about nothing.
Zack's old boys club got smashed cause he ain't got a clue what he is doing, starting from his picks. Maybe next time the US will pick players on performance and not who they are friends with. Not to mention the bias against LIV players.
All you have to do is adopt the same chants. As an Englishman living in the US and a follower of Tottenham all my life.
These songs and chants are generic to all teams the words are adapted to for each individual team.
Yes a football club will have one song that is identifiable to them uniquely. But then most everything else is used by them as in other clubs.
Hence it just adapted by the fans at the Ryder Cup because they are all likely to be football fans to.
So you don’t have to invent anything just create the words to fit the tune it’s really that simple
I’d love to see the US create a similar atmosphere and Beth Page in two years it makes for good competition and it a lot better than being abusive or hollering get in the hole.

LaCava is too experienced for emotions to overcome him and was way out of line screaming cursing at Lowry to STFU across the green, getting in players lines, interfering with opposing players. Unprofessional conduct as a caddie and no place in Golf for it. If Arnie was alive he'd be disgusted by it all.

Justin thomas said in the presser after it that it’s the closest team that america have had in years, usually there is a few “mis-fits” that typically make a team but this team all got on very well etc… makes me wonder if JT would rather win the trophy with some “mis-fits” in the team or loose with his “mates”
I never miss a podcast of SubPar. Every future Ryder Cup Captain needs to watch this episode. So many good ideas to make the USA competitive across the pond.

Unlike the Europeans, USA can build team unity through a test EACH YEAR…next USA captain should treat presidents cup as a test run for a squad and use picks to match as close as possible

Get rid of the old vice captains, to start.
Agree on the V. Captain. Get someone like Mike Krzyzewski, Coach K from Duke to help. Or other team sports coaches that know how to work with and motivate a team in hostile environments.
