Rory does NOT sit on the fence with this and goes into exactly why he thinks team Europe won this years 2023 Ryder Cup at the Marco Simone Golf course and could be the same team going into the Ryder cup in 2025 at Bethpage Black in New York!

Now over the last 48 hours Patrick Cantlay and Rory have been at the centre of the golf news but in this case i think they will be on the same page with the reason that Europe won the ryder cup and i think he will be happy for this!

Missing from this years Ryder Cup we had: Ian Poulter, Lee Westwood and Sergio Garcia! The roomers are circulating gall across social media that the entire ryder Cup Team USA are fractured as patrick Cantlay calls for players to be paid in order to play in the ryder Cup! Could this be the reason that Team USA lost the opening day and players like Scottie Scheffler where crying after a demolition on the Saturday Foursomes at the Ryder Cup? Should they get paid how much do they get paid? What is going o0n with Tea USA at the Ryder Cup? what a great Sunday and some of the best golf i have ever seen in a Ryder cup! I cant’t wait for Bethpage ryder cup 2025.

Rory gives brutal insight INTO WHY Europe WON the Ryder cup and Patrick Cantlay will be happy

  1. Don't agree that Rory and Jon don't have big personalities. You are too biased. Not the reason the US lost. One reason which I have said on this channel is the US was not a team. The PGA and Zack made sure of that by being such tur** with pretty much everything related to the Ryder Cup. They only had Brooks because they had to. Zack was a disaster.

  2. Rahm and Rory are big personalities..so is Hatten., USA lost becuase they were out coached at every level and USA friends team was not very sharp.

  3. As an Irish man. I very proud of Shane & Rory. But Justine Rose won my vote. Hero's Tommy, and McIntyre too. Luke was flawless. Best sports event this year. 😊

  4. Things look too good for Europe. US really need to think how to protect the big apple. Cause we really don’t want to lose there.

Everyone is talking about the home advantage, I’m still wondering if US can keep up with Europe.

There is one thing —or man —that can help.
Rory basically guaranteed they will win in bethpage. And as of now I actually really like Europe’s chances in NY.

So what can US do? Could personalities derail Europe’s? Which ones? And how do we take advantage?

I get that guys like Sergio and Poulter have big personalities BUT Rory is the arguably too big personality and increasingly an obnoxious one that can help US.

Rory haters should be buying their 2025 tix as we speak.

Europe may have picked Sergio from LIv for the Ryder cup to actually play, and he likely would have replaced hoojgaard, whom did not have a great record, so it is arguable they could have been stronger with Sergio players wise.

But this is more about Rory the rift master insulting his own teams magical history makers roles as captains and assistants.

Europe truly has a great culture, almost anyone associated with the team would have done a great job. Imo. That being said luke may be the goat of Ryder cup captains. But the way I see it europes next guy will likely be even better. It just keep getting better over there. But with Rory there could be conflict as surely some on the team disagree with disparaging those guys.

I disagree with Rory’s reasoning for Europe’s success; celebrating the absence of his fellow European legends whom big personality or not deserve to be there as much as his annoying personality. And who’s personalities have only proven to help the team.

In a lot of peoples minds if there is one thing that could derail Europe is the Rory Rory Rory factor. And especially rahm is the one who seems to be thinking it a lot; and at times he is even saying it.

Rahm had a noticeable moment where he was annoyed to finally get a question after Rory took the champions presser over with his confrontational ways.

So Rory could get annoying to teammates, fans (on both sides) and Americas team has a chance to galvanize against Rory most of all if you ask me.

There’s a million things Rory says but he guaranteed winning two years from now. If that doesn’t piss off tiger on down i do NOT know what will!

It will be hard because of all the big personalities in team USA being stuck on Rory’s political/business hip. Especially tiger.

But it’s kind of our only way to galvanize the Americans to win. The players need to be annoyed by Rory to the 12th man, and especially that 13th man.

And with any luck some of Rory’s teammates will be annoyed with him and Vuala, we protect the big apple.

    Go USA!

  5. You guys are grossly over thinking this. European players were playing in front of the countrymen, they were better rested, Europeans can be incredibly rude (yes much more so than Americans) and the whole thing will turn around when the US has home course advantage. Other than the first day it was CLOSE. Here's an idea. Seeing is how most of the European team jumped on a plane and flew back to the country they choose to live in, United States…let's dump the Ryder Cup and go with PGA vs LIV golf.

  6. Bobby mac played great, really impressive. And Rory always plays like a monster when he has wind in his sails. The year of liv, he was a beast. Rory needs a fire under him constantly .

  7. Does America have big personalities? Who? Cantley looks miserable, Koepka looks uninteested «couldnt care less», Spieth hardly any facial expression, same with Schaufelle, Scheffler! Eh?. ……..

  8. What will the narrative be if Europe can’t win the next one on US soil. Then what will the headlines be.

  9. If LIV, PGA, and the European Tour come together, then there will be no way to exclude LIV players from consideration in the next Ryder Cup. What will this do to team cohesion for Europe in the next Ryder Cup?

  10. How can you say "you let guys flourish" when the US team was WEAK. The biggest personalities in US Ryder golf are DJ, Brooks, Bryson and Reed. The Cantlay outburst down 10-5 was like Roy Keane scoring a goal and tearing his shirt off down 4-0 w/ 5 minutes to play. And LaCava should literally be banned from the next Ryder. Period. But hey, maybe the US will let Chase Koepka play next time. woohoo. From a fans point of view, this Ryder was weak tea w/out the big US/Euro names, I mean, Rory beat Sam Burns…oooooh.

  11. All the Liv Euros are well over the hill and have joined a mega bucks retirement tour because their best days are long gone!

  12. Nonsense. It is not personalities. America picks its teams wrong. This year they picked the Christian prayer group players. Any engineer could pick a team based on stats, and wipe the floor with our Ryder Team Captains.

  13. The PGA tour players like Rory have a thing against LIV Tour players. Could it be that he was not offered multi millions to join LIV he was overlooked. Not sure about Cantlay whether he was offered big money like Bryson or Sergio. The reason Europe won was they were better, it's as simple as that. Golf is a fickle game, we all know one minute you are on fire and the next round you are ds. It's the same for tour pros. As an opinion Europe has a good team hard to say without a shadow of a doubt that including Sergio or any of the other LIV guys would have made any difference, no one can say that. I reckon USA would have benefited from the likes of Bryson but he wasn't picked of course
