  1. He hasn't given fans, teammates or coaches any reason to think he truly wants to play for the Saints and give the game his all and his best. The idea that he set the big record and then decided he could just … coast is all too … plausible. Show me. Past events indicate his best years are behind him, and he spent several of those prime years watching his teammates play while he sat on the couch. I don't think anyone can say he tried his hardest to … contribute. It is all too likely that he thinks the Saints owe him an easy and lucrative ride because he set a major record. That being said, I hope he is motivated to prove everyone wrong an break his own record. I want Steve Largent, Jerry Rice, or even Wes Welker … an attitude of get the job done. I'll pass on a me first receiver like Antonio Brown, Terrell Owens, or Chad Ocho Cinco.

  2. Dude was so dominant he on his way to being the best saints ever. But injuries said nope!

  3. Saying " he can't stay healthy is so off base when he literally only had 2 injuries. It's not like he's getting hurt every time he touches the field.

  4. Reminds me of Josh Gordan. Only his injury was failing a drug test. After returning from being out for so long, it is nearly impossible to regain that form of dominance.

  5. Aint yall the people who said taysom hill was the next lamar jackson? Why yall just say shit like that and move on lamar was a unanimus mvp and is a franchise qb why is taysom playing tight end???? Yall did the comparison yall need to stop with the hot takes

  6. I think MT took the time off because he knew it would take some time for the saints to rebuild. No point in getting injured further just to lose. He’s going to surprise a lot of people this year with Carr.

  7. I mean when he’s healthy he’s still one of the best he scored more than 18.5 fantasy points in all the games he started & finished last season

  8. His ceiling NOW is the FF WR1 tier. Where he was ALLLLL three games he played in 2022…. He averaged nearly 15 points per game last year in those 3 games. I get being skeptical about his ability to stay healthy, but if you are doubting his skill or ability because of old injuries….it’s gonna be a lonngggg season. IF MT plays 17 games this season, he finishes in the Top 20 for WRs and gets a new 1-2 year bag (contract year). Also, if MT, Olave, Carr, and AK are healthy all season, and the defense stays healthy as well, this is easily a Top 2 team in the NFC. Just like any other team, it all depends on health.
