John Calipari – Yes, the way he left and when he left and how he left, but none of that would matter if we got the payoff. Aka – the NCAA championship
Relative to the programs : Norvell took Memphis football to Gameday, AAC championship, and to a Cotton Bowl invite which is the highest level that a Memphis football program could reach.
Calipari took us to a title game, but the truth is, we al know we should have won that game. And then he took the #1 recruiting class which had the fans thinking we were on the cusp of another big run.
