The MOST WANTED Irons Of 2023 – I HAD TO STEAL THEM!

  1. I’m currently using the Mizuno 921 but I think the next purchase will be takomo. The T150 look amazing but way to pricy.

  2. P790s should be here next week 7 to pw and a vokey sm9 50,,from the stealth irons which I really liked we shall see

  3. Next year is my season to upgrade my irons. I am still playing my old Ping S55 irons. I am devouring your iron reviews and I might be leaning toward the Takomo 301 irons. You have opened my eyes to all of the options, James. Well done!

  4. I PLAY THE T100S with the steel fibre shaft. Im off a 2 at 60 years old now. I have hit the the 150s,albeit not in my shaft. I wont be changing anytime soon. Good review thou, however you are a little hyper. Slow down with the commentary and let us soak up what your saying.

  5. Nothing feels like a Mizuno. Once you own a set, you'll have a hard time with anything else, IMO.

  6. I’ve got the original t100 irons and a Taylormade stealth 2 driver. Had the irons for a while now and I’m really enjoying them. Plenty forgiving enough but make me feel like a player. Got the stealth 2 a couple days ago and same story really.

  7. Those are absolutely beautiful irons!! I have a set of the original Titleist T100S irons, which are awesome, however, I prefer my Callaway X Forged CB irons, they look better, feel better and are slightly more forgiving in my mind (which is a mysterious place lol). I don’t think you could go wrong with either though.

  8. Didn’t see big enough difference between 21 and 23 to get out of my 21 model t100. Did get the T200 4 iron though

  9. I’ll never buy new irons again. I can wait a year and get them at least half the price, depending on the set. I just picked up a set of Cobra MIM Tours for $380. Almost brand new shape. This whole $1400 a set is a bunch of crap. I’m not doing it, no matter what.

  10. Keep up the good work! I’m leaning towards the PXG 0317T just because 301 CB’s take forever to get (custom). The offset about the same between the two? Enjoy the Ryder cup tomorrow 🤙🏽

  11. If you buy a new or like new set of clubs they will last you 10+ years. The problem is people let themselves or other people convince them they need to replace their clubs every few years. Unless you are a pro or you practice hours and hours everyday, the only clubs needing replaced every few years is your wedges. Plus people really need to utilize the second hand market more. There are some amazing deals on like new and lightly used clubs all over the place if you do some research. Just be careful and stay away from unreputable retailers. Im not a fanboy for any one brand but I do have my favorites. Im sure takomo, wilson, and tour edge all make fine clubs but I will stick to the brands I have played and loved for 25 years, such as Titleist, Taylormade, and Callaway. Mizuno irons are great, and ping fairways and hybrids are really good as well. The best thing about equipment now is that everyone see's and feels clubs differently, and with all of the brands making really good clubs everyone can find the right sticks for their own game. It fascinates me to see what clubs people have in their bags and why.

  12. I was under the impression the T100 and T150 were exactly the same with 2⁰ stronger lofts??

  13. I’m a huge Titleist fan, but I don’t have everything Titleist. I have the T350 irons, Ping 430 driver, 3 wood and hybrid, Vokey sm9 wedges (54 and 58) Evnroll er2b putter oh and Ecco shoes 😂

  14. I play Mizuno MP 58s, they look like the design is similar to the T150s. They have that "dual muscle" and a bigger blade, fairly forgiving and still workable. Too bad they are 13 years old….

  15. Tried all the T-series at Dicks, could not hit any of them according to machine? I feel you need to be an elite ball striker to hit the T's?????

  16. I like Titleist clubs, have a few single irons I mess around with, but my favorite Titleist irons go way back…the original DCI blacks. So understated, no frills, and they perform great. That's Titleist at their best,,, clean player's designs. Like this T150 here. The 150 merely replaces the T100s, that's it. Slightly stronger lofts than the T100. They should look the same otherwise.
Titleist, Taylormade, Ping, Callaway, Cobra, etc..etc, Srixon, they're all expensive, great products but very pricey. I'm more curious about MacGregor and Ram, Adams is back. Maltby's TS line of irons are the underrated gems from what I've read/heard.

  17. How would u rate these to the 0317T. Feel wise and forgiveness and distance? Ive owned the t150 but switched back to the 0317cb . The T are really interesting me. Thanks

  18. Think the biggest thing these days is COST appeal so it would be interesting how they sell in a wide market

  19. Just upgraded from Apex CF 16s to the previous T100s and they look and feel great, had to put a U510 4 iron in as im getting old..😂

  20. Tm driver , Tour Edge 3W , Calloway ST 5 and 7W , Titliest Irons , Calloway Wedges , Scotty putter . Get the best clubs for each shot that suit you.

  21. I loved the Titleist T300 but didn't have deep enough pockets. I would love a full set in my bag.

  22. The new Callaway irons are ugly so Callaway players are looking for new clubs other than Callaway. I am in that boat, need new irons and looking at Titleist or Taylormade.

Sometimes it baffles me what Callaway corporate is thinking. They are risking a reduced revenue cycle. 🙄

  23. As an old pga professional l used to get paid to play a brand of club, now at 70 years old and having to pay for my own clubs l choose to play titliest. I fully admit they are not the cheapest but you get what you pay for. Quality precision equipment can only help your game provided you are custom fitted.
