My two favorite Gary hole openings were: Doral 16… “the guys who eat quiche will take an iron off the tee, the Yuppies will take a 3-wood near the corner, but the guys with hair on their backs will take a Driver and go for the green.” #2- in Hartford before the renovation: Two holes used to have drives intersect with each other. Ben Wright was in a tower acting as an air traffic controller, and Gary said “Bentley… the action is down here on the ground.” A third one was when Bob Murphy was still on the course and Gary put on a disguise to pretend he was Bob Murphy.
WHO GETS RID OF THESE GUYS WHO WERE ABSOLUTELY HILARIOUS, THROW IN MR FEHERTY AND IT WAS A GRADE CARNAGE, NOW ITS WOKE NONSENSE BORING AS HELL…..
