  1. Iowa has had a bad 7 days. The football team couldn't score a point and Zach Johnson's team couldn't win a match. The former believable, the latter unbelievable.

  2. The course looked like a fair test. Missing shots to bring the steep slopes of the green surrounds, typically short and right, into play was inexcusable. You've given yourself no chance to win the hole.

  3. Why are the Americans complaining about heat? They’re way hotter than Rome was today lol the majority live and play in bloody Florida for Christ sakes

  4. I'm worried about McIntyre. I don't know him and he may be a shy and reserved guy but he looked fragile today and up there.

  5. I'm 52, but I want to be just like Justin Rose when I grow up. What a gent.

  6. Excuse made already…they're not well.

    Pathetic
He said he put out his best pairs.
Now hes saying those selections were based on health issues.

    Ridiculous

  7. Coming from an American, I saw this coming weeks ago! Europe is stronger at the TOP, MIDDLE, and they have NO bottom!

  8. Brooks Koepka should look at Thomas how he acts instead of focusing on Rahm. Harman & Homa didnt even give 50inch putts awayand Europe had two putts to win a hole from around 4 feet and they didnt give it.

  9. Awww theyve got a cold bless em, typical yanks no excuses yesterday now when he said it was his best pairing yesterday 😂😂

  10. zacks press conference just confirmed poor preparation and execution from this usa team. 5 weeks off does not build unity or team spirit. I think this team and his captaincy may have been found out.

  11. A putt will never bounce off the flag Luke, it's impossible.

  12. The US players are going to have to step up their leadership within the team for this tournament to make it to Sunday. Zach doesn't have a clue. Luke Donald is classy, he has a vision for the team and he's personable and a great communicator.

  13. Home course was easy to see today. US pros were used to a wild tee shot landing in a gallery-trampled area which would allow recovery shots that are still attacking the green. At this course, that put them in rough so deep they could hardly advance the ball. But they had to know that was going to happen and adjust to what they are facing.

  14. It’s seems as Americans we have become so good at making excuses. I guess judging by our demented president who was voted in by 81 million 🐑, it’s no surprise. Hope we come back and try and play better tomorrow. But it’s an unfair course, long rough, narrow fairways!!!!!

  15. Zach is such a gentleman and a class act. Hope he can hold his head high by the end of the tournament!!!

  16. Rahm deserved to win because he carried his rookie partner around the course and back again ; what a magnificent performance!

  17. Zach may be a nice guy but absolutely clueless. The Europeans are just getting started and the beat down unfortunately looks like it may last all weekend. Maybe he'll explain the reason behind his pairings , mindboggling!

  18. Why even bring up anything regarding the health of the American players? There's NOTHING you can say about that that DOESN'T make it sound like an excuse. The right response is, "Not an issue. Next." And I must say, for once, I actually agreed with a question a reporter asked – the one at 1:23:50, namely, what part of a 6.5 – 1.5 a– kicking can you be proud of?

  19. I’m huge team Europe but I LOVE that Zach genuinely complimented the venue & fans … 😢👏👏 That shows how much of a class act & just a true golf fan many of these Americans are 👍👌☺️
