I seriously thought Hole 5 was gonna be a bank shot 😂😂 so close…! Any of those shots would’ve been given to me by the old people I sometimes get paired with at the public course 🤣
Terrible iron play………..Out of 9 you had two or three good ones. Hands high on the club gripping with fingers. Step closer to the ball. Clear your hips to start the down swing and Keep that club face open all the way on a super straight swing plane to the flag. Big reverse "C" finish.
I had to sacrifice a HIO for a tournament "closest to the pin". The group in front of us didn't put the flag back in the hole correctly. My ball rolled nearly in the hole, but the flag wasn't letting it drop. In my rangefinder, everyone in my group could see the ball was almost 1/2 way in the hole. When we got up to the pin, the wind pushed the flag enough to push my ball out of the hole by a few inches … so I won KP money and didn't have to buy drinks for 72 tourney participants! You'll get one soon enough. You're definitely a much better golfer than me. I've been playing 20 years and had lots of "close", but no enchilada!
So, I did this last year and actually made a HiO. My question is , does it count??? Half of my friends say no it does not count cause it was a par 3 course…. Lmk
