Buddy I think you need to get more realistic on your expectations for this season and Rodgers injury time line. Barring a miracle career turn around Zach Wilson will probably lead this team at best a .500 record probably worse if I'm honest. There's no point rushing a 40 year old QB back to get killed by this offensive line this year especially if we're already out of the race. I would just be impressed if Rodgers is ready to go for training camp next season, I'm not expecting to see him until then. Him coming back a year later would be an amazing feat.

Nah bro as crazy as it would be for Rodgers to come back, 1 that would way too risky for him to come even it’s late in the season, 2 if you rush him to come back there is a high risk of him getting reinjured. It’s better to let him sit until next year. There would be no point for him to rush back this season

The whole idea of Rodgers coming back in January has Jets fans excited because it hints at the fact that the Jets can still be good enough to make it to the playoffs in spite of Wilson at QB
From what I've read, it could take as long as 6 weeks post-surgery to get the boot off. Let's say Rodgers heals faster and it's only 4 weeks. That means he misses both NE and KC and might get here in time to watch the Broncos game from his home in NJ. I'm betting he's not back until just before the bye.
Do you guys even understand football? Rodgers was taken out due to a one on one match up with our current LT. And that was a terrible attempt at blocking by a veteran LT. We did barely anything to beef up our offensive line to protect a HOF QB and most of you placed the blame squarely on Zach Wilson for last years offense failures.
Now you geniuses think we can put that same HOF QB behind the same horrible offensive line? Are any of the coaches watching film of the line? I know of one bunch that is and that is EVERY single defensive coordinator who will play the Jets. Their defense will live in the backfield just like it did last year.
And you will blame Zach and chant Rodgers name to come in so he can get destroyed again. Hopefully he's not that stupid.
If Zach gets us anywhere close to the Playoffs, that would mean he has probably earned the starter role for the rest of the season. I don't think this will happen so, the whole discussion is moot. I think any QB is doomed behind this current O-Line.

To quote Robert Saleh " it dosen't matter if we have a hof quarterback, an elite defence , if the OL cant protect him" . Thats why Aaron is injured, thats why they got snowballed at Dallas, and needs sorting asap. Dallas was a tough ask even if Rodgers was fit, and the coaching was way off, Hackett needs to wake up, use the running game and try and keep the opposition's OL off the field. I don't care how good the jets defence is, if they are forced to play 3/4 of the game it wears them down, make mistakes etc. My main hope for Aaron Rodgers this season is that he gets to come back and help from the sidelines, get fully recovered for next season, by which time the jets might have a decent OL to protect him, or else I just see him being injured again.
