Welcome back to another video from Nefyn where we go out onto the peninsula and play the Old Course! Let me know which your favourite hole is! Either the fourth or the fifth (lighthouse hole) for me!
Played a course right down near Llanelli this year called Machynys. Jack Nicklaus design right on the sea. Not as many vistas as this one but a cracking links course 👍🏼
If this is the type of golf you enjoy, right on the Welsh Coastline, you have to come and play Aberystwyth. Harry Vardon designed, for my money the most beautiful course in the country. Never a flat lie, tricky small greens. Proper test to go low. Very blessed to be a member.
Played there in April and was as excited as you were about it will go back next year we also played at Porthmadog that was interesting on the links half of the course and great views 🏌️⛳️
i see a lot of comments of play this and that course in wales. pennard gc is a true test of 18 hole links golf in wales. never a flat lie, scenery is amazing, greens complexes are very testing, and the members are very welcoming. just pray it is not windy…………..play well………not one mention of TY COCH inn either on the headland
Played Nefn a few years ago, stunning. Porthmadog is really interesting, beautiful parkland front nine, tricky sand dunes and cliffs on back nine, not far from Nefn.

Cullen Golf club North east Scotland is a gem. You should get up here for that.

Try Royal St. David’s at Harlec and Aberdovey GC. Both very good 👍🏻.
Royal Porthcawl where the senior open was held recently and Langland Bay Golf club where Catherine Zeta Jones and Michael Douglas are members. 👌🏻

Get down to Pennard and Langland Bay in Swansea. Unreal cliff top views
were the greens as bad as they look???
How different/difficult would playing that course in wind be?!
