  1. Peyton, I met your father a few times how, where, and when, for my own privacy reasons, I won't disclose. Archie was a true gentleman. With the Saints, your dad was like a soldier in combat with little hope of protection who, with gallows humor, was called a "bullet bag." Archie was a "sack bag". He didn't have a chance. The Saints stole his prime years by failing surround him with high quality players. If it were Tom Brady alive back then quarterbacking as the Saints' bullet bag instead of Archie, Tom wouldn't have a single Super Bowl ring on his hand.

  2. I can’t tell you how much we miss Peyton on the field at Mile High. As I’m sure Colts fans wish he was still there too.

  3. Ill give u some consolation….You are better (not much) than Marino.

  4. What’s the song playing during Archie’s highlights? I’ve looked all over but I can’t find it

  5. 0:29 Back when Black players were not allowed in the league…Back when they thought Blacks were not smart enough to play quarterback.

  6. I live in Indianapolis.. the worst they the colts ever did was letting Peyton Manning walk to draft Andrew Luck.. after everything he did for the colts they let him walk away.. absolutely stupid

  7. Love your video's I love it, I'm a 65 yo guy and Been a Bronco fan my whole life, Growing up I got to see all the greats! Thank You!

  8. This is awesome look back to the days I was little and watching football with my older brother and father (late 70's). Thanks. It actually explained a lot of the Cowboy, Steelers and Redskins dynasty years. Now that I am older and can understand the tight stats amongst the leagues makes the game even more alluring. Took a look back and loads of many great players including Mr. Manning.

  9. Imagine taking a walk in florida and seeing Peyton Manning and Dan Marino just casually throwing a football back and forth.

  10. Think the two best QB's from the class of '83, were Dan Marino &John Elway, both had strong Arms, and were pretty accurate. The fact that I think they only played against each other once in a Monday Night Game. Was kinda sad, imagine if they'd faced off against each other in an AFC championship game, or even every other regular season. Might have been lots of scoring

  11. Nobody past or present had the arm Marino did. Was lucky I got to see Marino/Manning for 32 years before football got boring again.
