Cool your jets on Bellingham. He's a brilliant talent, no doubt, but your not "world class" when you are 20 and not won a trophy yet! I think in 2/3 yrs he may be top 5 in the world but right now not quite there. He has only played a hanful of games at Madrid, possibly one of the poorest Madrid squads for a long time and he was poor last week against Ukraine. This was a friendly and Scotland sat off them far too much 1st half.
Is he world class? Not yet!
The biggest obstacle to producing top talent is the Pro Youth set up we cast off kids at 14/15 as not being good enough boys who cant go for a kickabout with pals because it breaks club rules. Absolutely ridiculous when your young you cant play enough. Scrap Pro Youth or things will continue to decline
It's OK getting to the euros, but you just know that we'll no get past the group stage. I all my years watching Scotland on the international football stage they've never been able to do it even when we had for me our best team in 78. So if we qualify for the euros great, but don't be fooled into thinking we're gonna do something special because your on to plums😂😂

SNP supporter or not, a Scot would have to be a masochist to sing an anthem which includes the lyric, "rebellious Scots to quell". Whatever the modern iteration, the original problem is that it fails to be a British anthem. The English sing it as though it belongs to them, they're welcome to it, it's shite.
I doubt if any Rangers fans were booing the "national anthem".

The very fact the jeering of an anthem is being questioned as WRONG says it all and probably leads to the overall negative feeling towards the UK as an institution in Scotland, people are free to jeer any anthem they want whether its the Scottish, English or Bulgarian, it was an international football match not a state funeral for gods sake

I’m a nationalist and I cannot stand the “English” national anthem it’s got to be the worst song ever, but I don’t hate the English, I thought Bellingham was outstanding as was Fodens finish as was Kane’s finish, we were outplayed by a far better side and there are reasons for that and some may even say that being a joke in many English eyes makes us culturally inferior before a balls even kicked but Glaswegian journalists pontificating about Scots booing their biggest rivals is farcical. It’s well reported and celebrated the rivalry between Celtic and Rangers and growing up in the 70’s and 80’s I thought the same was attributed to Scotland v England, yet folk like McCoist who suffer from this national self loathing because he works with folk like Simon Jordon, a person who openly despises Scotland. It’s due to people like him Scotlands in the mess it’s in. Stockholm syndrome at its worst.

Alot of the English punter guys esp Saunders and OHara couldnae get their grey matter round the fact that a Rangers man could support the Anglos. They sing all the same anthems doon Ibrox and Wembley way don't they.

As an English fan going back to 66 and been hurting ever since , it's good to hear an unbiased view of where the current England team stands.
I'm surprised none of the guys mentioned an alternative to Kane as apart from a central defensive problem, I think that's where England's weakness is – if Kane is injured or going through a drought , England still doesn't have a reliable stand in .
Re the top 5 England players of all time – good to hear one of the guys pick Hoddle – I always felt Charlton was similar to Gerrard – both great players but both a bit hit and hope and would often completely mis-cue a pass whereas Hoddle had more guile but he lacked the 'engine' of the other two – as the guys said ,Hoddle was the guy they should have built the team around.
Hopefully we can see another match up of the auld enemies next summer -by the way , I still haven't forgiven you lot for Wembley in 67 …..

I don't do national anthems, flags, pyrotechnics, flame throwers or 99 percent of any pre game or half time entertainment. I do always pay my respects every time a period of silence is requested.
I also never boo or abuse, players, refs or fans. Sport is to be enjoyed and savoured always…..
