We’ll try putting the wire in one of the things so that nothing else but snakes mice and small thing could get through and if it’s untouched then it could be chickens
Put a camera in the coop to see if they actually are eating their own eggs
Try changing to a different feed. Try a local brand if there's one available. I've seen this before, there is a good chance they're just not laying them. Large feed companies have been accused of putting something in the feed to stop egg production.

I'm have absolutely 0 snake knowledge, but wouldn't a snake prefer a bigger meal like a chicken? Even a small snake might want a midyear snack.

If you do find a snake, make sure to call a professional to relocate it, don't handle the snake yourself if you are inexperienced, and definitely don't kill the snake. Snakes are awesome creatures and you shouldn't hurt them.
Mustard is actually delicious with egg. Don't know if you want to encourage them. Are you sure, that they don't just lack something in their diet? That causes some animals to eat strange things. Not saying it's necessarily the case here, since I am not a chicken expert.
got a tip for you Chicken wire does not keep Weasels out or hawks. that might be the Problem they cant get thru hard ware cloth.

When you eat your eggs, save the egg shells and put them in the oven on 400 till you see brown inside the shells and crush them up an feed them to the chickens. It should stop the issue. Atleast it did with mine.

Like some one else said, a snake full of eggs wouldn't be able to escape unless there was a bigger hole or somewhere they could hide until the eggs were digested, so another option could be someone trespassing and stealing eggs

Put up a trail cam by the chicken 🐓 coop you’ll find your culprit
honey I love chickens u made a coop out of 2×4 8ft long cut in half made 2x2s 8ft long 100 ft of chicken wire and corrugated tin 2 pieces 8ft long cut one in half put along the bottom built chicken house 4ft off the ground 6ft long 3ft wide sloped roof handed door to get eggs out and clean it and made a door at one end that I put on pully to open and close I put then up at dark no problems
Well if you got a noodle in your coupe it's probably going to die if it eats one of those mustard eggs I'm just going to let you know I have five noodles and they can't eat mustard it's not good for them I would imagine.
Just up their calcium intake, they sometimes eat their own eggs because they have a calcium deficiency

I guess it could be either a snake or a mink. I've heard of minks puncturing holes in eggs to suck the juice out of em.
When one starts eating eggs the rest copy its best just to keeo and eye on them find out which ones eating the egg and eat them before they influence the rest

please do not do this. it will make them not get their nutrients and minerals they need. otherwise theres no reason to have them if you arent gonna let them do it.

You should use cameras and see what’s happening or a snake trap or soothing

snakes can swallow an egg whole and break it inside their body when they move through a tight spot, so they can go in a hole an egg can't and come back out the same hole and break the egg coming back out the same hole. When I was a kid 55 -60 years ago, we kept a couple of guinea hens. They make plenty of noise when predators show up.
