Deion is already winning. Pitt coach is more worried about Deion than he is about his own team. This part of the year is meant to be used to focus on your team and players. Folks want their -3 star kid to be on a team and have coaches constantly askig them to give it their all. They want the coaches to coddle their kids like they do at home. Ain't nobody got time for that!
So, he has a problem with the 1954 "Junction Boys," and they didn't have a transfer portal. Jordan Peterson said it best,
“If you betray yourself, if you say untrue things, if you act out a lie, you weaken your character. Coach Narduzzi speaks his own truth. Here's the thing. His truth is rooted in a subpar Pitt program and a somewhat pedestrian assistant coaching career. Coach Prime has to win now, and he's not doing anything illegal, immoral, or unethical. NCAA rules allow him to field his team due to his "new coach" status.

I'm a huge fan of primetime I love how he's doing it but I do respect Pitts head coach statement because that's honoring the agreement the kids was given and made to the kids prior to the coach getting there not new recruit but the active roster players
If them players stayed coach Prime would go 2-10 the next couple years. Of course he will do good with 4 and 5 star recruits coming in. Prime isn't a coach. He is a recruiter.
Deion lost 71 players. Not all of them are “bad” and he didn’t bring in 71 4* and 5* players. And frankly success at the hbcu level doesn’t inherently mean he’ll tear it up at the fbs level. Much of the mwc and Sun Belt would have dominated any hbcu school. Can Shedeur really put up the type of numbers he put up at JSU? I have my doubts.
But that’s why we play the games. We will see how they do.
