Nick talking about Rodger's "decline" over the last 4 years is an over-exaggeration. 2 MVP's and faced faced elite defences (Bucs & 9ers). There's a reason why they say defence wins championships. Aaron's last year with the Pack wasn't his best, but it was still better than half the QB's in the league and most definitely better than Zack's with a broken thumb in his throwing hand. If Rodgers was on that Jet's team last year they definitely making the playoffs, not saying they'd win the whole thing, but definitely deeper than with Wilson under center.
Get up to speed Chris, Hack has already said ARod is coming back, and if anyone other than ARod would know, it's Hack.
Good luck Zach facing that Cowboys defensive line. That's going to be an absolute sack fest
“As a guy that says things that can have 2 meanings”
You mean as a guy who outright lies and deceived his coworkers risking their health. Is what you mean.
Anyways. Jets are actually better off this way because he was not going to be much better if not worse than he was last year so while they’re not gonna be great if they’re smart they’re now closer to actually being a good team with real playoff hopes.
Just replace Zach Wilson with a better young pick
Sam Donald refers to Bill Belichick as Baba Yaga
Brady is dimensions ahead
Nick be going hard pause
Sometimes Broussard sounds dumb as 2 brick's sitting in a vacant lot🤦🏽♂️
So they obviously wont win more than 6 games this season which means a top 5 or 6 pick…so do u get an offensive lineman in free agency n go after marvin OR a free agent receiver n go after top o linemen
To be a longtime Jets Fan you are REQUIRED to be extremely emotional and have zero rational thoughts. That's why they went after Rodgers in the first place and that's while they'll do a half dozen equally stupid things to maintain what everyone rational knows is a complete fantasy.
These guys are ridiculous
He might also retire or get vaccinated this time. Maybe. Or maybe not. Depends on what the dreamcatcher catches.
He didn’t play Jimmy G he played SF defense
Allah hu Akbar alhamdulilah
Nick is Wright. Watch the all22 of Wilson against the Bills. No wonder they can’t score.
Look upgrade the o line to at least top 5 in the league and keep Rodgers, his arm is the generational talent not his legs.
Nick is being too borderline on Rodgers with this one. It's one thing to go back on retirement it's another to go back on a team of promise (let alone the end of legacy). Rodgers hasn't once gone back on his intentions with New York. He's even shown latitude.
Aaron will play again.
Nick characterizing the last four years as a “cliff straight down” is such sports show bs. That’s some skip bayless on Lebron level hater nonsense.
I don’t care about the jets and I don’t care about ARod but him going out like that is painful.
Brees and Brady were good it got really tough after that….
What a clown. Can't open his mouth without it being stand up comedy.
Can Chris stop bringing up Wentz name no way wentz is a better option then Wilson
I am surprised they didn't mention Cousins. He will be a free agent after this season, and it a highly under rated QB. And this is coming from a Lions fan.
They should trade for Lance or Cooper Rush
Where can we watch the segments that aren’t on YouTube?
And just like that the true Aaron came back to life the over the top egomaniac he really is. He is the Phoenix that will rise from the ashes.😂😂😂😂😂😂
His arm has always been good with bad footwork I believe in a comeback
The fact that the 49ers ran the ball 8 times and beat up in the NFC championship game, makes one think ots the play calling and defense and rodgers wasn't the issue in green bay
Bring on the doubt
What is with people and Carson Wentz
So were gonna put Carson Wentz in a young locker room and say have at it and im sorry as bad as Zack wilson is its only his 2nd year Carson Wentz had 1 good year and has been mediocre to bad his whole career
Get Chad Henne to come out of retirement for the JETS. Money talks.
Long time Packer fan. Rodgers was done several years ago. feasted off lackluster divisional play his entire carer. He played HERO ball one to many times. 3 step drop = get the ball out on the 3rd step and he could not do it…. Had to play hero and look around per the usual over the last several years.
Bad take by everyone
i think he should do another darkness retreat, see where that puts his brain
For those who forget including brou apparently, the NFCC against the bucs the packers had the lead and rodgers had an 150 passer rating driving down the field before the pic 6 which was the most clear jersey pull by a db to make up ground i'd ever seen. The receiver (i think it was lazard) had a step on the DB and rodgers threw it right at his hands when the DB pulled lazards jersey to propel himself in front of the ball and take it to the house. After that kevin king let that little guy run behind him on a clear hail mary situation right before half time to give the bucks a 2 touchdown lead. In the 3rd quarter brady came out and threw 3 interceptions while rodgers was on fire. Green bay marched down to the bucs 4 yard line down more than field goal with less than 2 minutes left and had 4th and goal at home with the MVP at QB and gave up on him at the goal line and opted for a field goal in hopes that the defence could prevent tom brady of all people of getting ONE first down..they then had tampa to 3rd and long where brady threw a pass 5 yards over the head of his receiver where kevin king also commited a terrible jersey pull, except this one got called to ice the game…aside from a pic 6 which was a clear penalty, rodgers played as perfect as he could have and deserved the win. This is just one of the many games rodgers "lost" in the playoffs while playing well. San fran in 2012-2013 he played great and watched colin kaepernick have two of the best post season performances ever, 2016 against atlanta he played pretty well but the defence allowed 48 points, even 2014 against seattle considering he was injured on 1 leg against the best defence in history in a building nobody had won at in over 2 years, rodgers entire post season career failures have so much context around them. The only "bad" game you can say he had was against the bears in 2010 where they won anyway because he FINALLY got help at the end of the game from someone else (Raji). 2011 against the giants he got sacked 9 times while NY never rushed more than 4 guys.. the last NFCC against san fran he was moving the ball well on both opening drives and had adams and jones both fumble the ball in san fran territory, and those who remember that game will remember san fran being up 28-0 at half time having controlled 80% of the time clock and rushing for over 200 yards before half time..rodgers has 4 post season overtime losses, 3 of which he tied the lead on historic plays only to never see the ball in overtime
If I had more faith in our newly acquired qb I would love if we traded cooper rush for a decent pick to the jets but he's a good backup option for us. I bet he'd be able to take that jets team to the playoffs.
Wildes is a treasure man.
nick wrong got trolled for his bald head when he first started so he started growing this terrible look…… someone needs to help this man
Belichick hates the jets confirmed
Love this! Very informative and these guys think out of the box! Where I get most of my NFL and Dallas Cowboys info! 👍🏼
Hindsight's 20/20, but trading for Rodgers was clearly a bad idea. Brady and Stafford were different because those teams were different. Favre to the Jets and then the Vikings was different. Those were veteran teams with a specific, short window. The Jets are a young team. They needed someone to grow with.
Brou is going to hurt himself trying so hard to backtrack on his own takes. At least he's not screaming like a toddler.
Kap would be a good pick up. Mobile, big arm, and chip on shoulder with something to prove. The timing is right. "DO IT……DO IT……DO IT", (in the voice of Ben Stiller from Starsky and Hutch)
Does anyone else want to see a show with just Nick and Kevin?
If the jets have given up on the season, then let Zach play. If they still want to try and make a run at the chip, gotta bring someone else in.
