As Australia is a multi-cultural society, we as music educators implement multiculturalism approach to our classrooms. This song is transcribed and arranged based on a repertoire called Zui Tai Ping (醉太平) of Kunqu Opera (昆曲).
Zui Tai Ping (醉太平) is a specific ancient poem structure in China.
Kunqu Opera is the oldest opera in China (more than 600 years) and all it’s lyrics use a range of ancient poem structures.
