Shame we lost Purdy and almost all backups last year against the Eagles. I was certain we will win it all. Chiefs were good but full strength SF had the weight of the Eagles+speed of Chiefs=cannot beat this combo.
SF needs a better backup qb. Sam is ok as a 3rd stringer but not as a backup in big games.
