in boxing there is skill and then there are assets. speed is an asset. punching power is an asset. but controlling the pace of fight is a skill. setting up your opponent for deliberate punch is a skill. defense is a skill (can be and asset, too). Ryan has the boxing assets, but he doesn't have the skill. he's not going to beat tank with just speed and punching alone (that's what Ryan wants people to believe). tank is just about reaching mayweather's status in the sense that you cannot beat him simply by doing what you're good at (he's proven that against Issac cruz, rolly and barrios especially). the only way to beat him is to outbox him. and that in of itself is difficult because he (Floyd) was a good defensive fighter—-a SKILL that tank is very good at, but often gets overlooked.
