   I don’t understand why using a tee on irons is an advantage. Doesn’t that alter the way one swings compared to when using that same club in the fairway?

   I carry 1 inch brush style tees, for my iron shots. that way I can get that correct strike without breaking off tees.

   I don’t use tees for my irons. Makes my swing and impact awkward 😚
   Think it’s because I haven’t got the option on fairway and other places.
