  1. In my opinion second only to Seve in terms of European influence..talks nonsense at times but we'll forgive him.
    Let's go 🇪🇺

  2. I was lucky enough to be there on the Sunday and Monday for the singles..will never forget it..what an experience 🇪🇺🇬🇧⛳️

  3. One of my favourite ever players and an absolute Ryder Cup giant and legend! ⛳🏌️🏆💪🏼

  4. Monty was not always loved by many in the early years of his career. By the end of his Ryder Cup years, by God every European with an interest in golf venerated at his feet. A behemoth of the occasion, never losing a singles tie & the only European to hole the winning putt twice. As a fellow Scot, Monty was always a sporting hero of mine. Although I was repeatedly gutted for him in the Majors, his continued excellence in the Ryder Cup gave me so much joy over the years. Thank you Monty.

  5. Love the Valderrama story. I’d have been a bit gutted not to get the point after that battle against Hoch!

  6. Formidable opponent, and all pie and cream for the cameras…

Saw him at the PGA at Wentworth being exceptionally grisly to a young lad who'd asked for an autograph (off the course). Utterly reprehensible.
