ABOUT DANNY
———————–
Thanks for stopping by. I created this website as a resource just for you to support you on your golfing journey as I know how tricky learning this game can be…to say the least!
I personally found learning the game too long and difficult in the early days. I read all the books, watched all the videos but my game was not improving. Then after studying various forms of neuro science, motor learning, psychology and personal development in less than two years I went from struggling golfer to the final stage of the Open Championship.
On YouTube and my personal website (www.dannymaude.com) I will bring you the most up to date training, training that is getting tangible results for my clients right now. I don’t know where you are in your golfing journey, you could be just starting out or maybe your body isn’t as flexible as it once was or you’ve got ambitions to slash your handicap. Wherever you are I’ve created a place here you can learn, share your ideas, ask questions and get all the support you need to enjoy this great game.
Be prepared though. If its a quick fix you are after Im not your man. Here I will give you step-by-step advice that you can take straight to the practice ground and apply to the course but it will require you to get stuck in, screw up…a lot, practice some more and then watch those scores tumble
I’ve had the pleasure of coaching thousands of students all around the world and if you are up for the challenge and are ready to get in the game…LETS GO TO WORK!

"in 5 minutes" proceeds to post a 13 minute video
Another great lesson explained so well. I tend to be a bit wayward on pitch approach shots. I’m guessing the feeling of the trail hand on top of the club has a similar effect to in the bunker?
He's a great learner!
Great lesson … I need to move up your way … I suspect you would cure my inconsistent iron shots in 5 minutes! Thanks – I’m off to find myself some sand to play in!! 😂
Well done Danny 👏 😊
You always hear open the face for bunker shots but this method is more intuitive
Great! I have known for years that a weak right hand grip should make bunker shots easy – never got it to work. Only now I understand WHY! Can't wait to get to the practice bunker!
it must be saturday lol.
Danny's advice is poetic: A golfer who hated the sand, Went to Danny who gave him a plan, With the help of an aid, He left unafraid, The results were totally grand.
Always love the ideas Danny. Many thanks
As always Fantastic Video Danny!
That was awesome! Teaching the difference between real and feel. The putter grip was a great idea.
THE BEST AS ALWAYS ! LOVE IT ! SPEED KILLS 😊
Another really good video and well done to your very brave student 👏 good job guys
Lower body (so arms hang where blade is definitely flat on ground )is my all time fav on course correction for any and all iron shots .great to see it’s not just “ my fix “ so to speak .
Danny Are You Really This Nice 😊 Great ? Do You Ever Get Mad ? Or Frustrated? 😅 ❤👍✌️
Right….but how do you control distance in the sand? More speed? More back swing? Less sand/more sand?
Danny, An excellent lesson approach using a beginning golfer. Leo is undoubtedly enjoying his job working with you and improving his golf game at the same time. I will be using your technique during practice and in my visit to the beach at my local course. Cheers mate.
So it is a putter grip?
Great lesson
Hi Danny, thank you very much for this really special video. I have a suggestion for a new video.
I became particularly alert from the 7th minute when you explained the role of the right hand. I've been watching your videos for a long time, but I've never seen this explicit explanation of pushing right hand instead of dragging. I mean it´s logical in itself but i was not so much aware of it. Could you maybe sometime make an iron video in which you especially go into the role of the right hand and explain this again in more detail. I think that would help a lot, especially if one often have to struggle with the bad shots due to dragging. If you have already made a video with the special role of the right hand it would be very nice if you would share the link with me. Thanks a lot Danny 😀
Good job
Anti-Flukiness !!!
Does pushing the club with your right hand also apply to full shots with irons and driver?
Good instructions. I live 8n Panama and with all the watering and rain, our bunkers are mostly wet sand or hard. Do you have any tips on sand shots like these? Thanks
Danny can you explain on how the putter grip needs to be at a 45degree angle? Thanks
Great lesson. Great video. Great result. Tell Leo he has a lot of potential… He was getting out with no problems… Even if Danny's shadow was all over the ball!
Danny, the camera position was terrible, we couldn't see the strike on the ball!
No "Hey everybody Danny Maude here" at the beginning of the video? 😭😢
LOVE this lesson for its simplicity and eye-popping results. I never realized the importance of the right hand to control the face and the depth of the swing. It makes so much common sense. I've battled with bunker shots for a long time and I can't wait to get into a bunker and try this tip. Another great lesson. Thanks, Danny
Great lesson again Danny. You’re awesome teacher as always. Putting pressure on the ball by pressing the right palm down. Cant wait to try it out soonest
I am really enjoying your videos. It is helping me to understand better how to hit bunker shots. Thanks for sharing.
Fantastic lesson, Danny. Kudos, Leo, for getting it right. Now all you’ll have to do is practice it. Cheers.
WOW!! This is my nemesis, and this lesson is going to liquidate it. Thank you very much, Danny.
