My first set I bought was Nike I absolutely love their wedges and still use them in my bag.
Persimmon
I had that same driver back in 03 in high School I played the empty blades from 32 pitching wedge and they're Rusty wedges wish I would have never gave him away
Covert 2 irons still wrapped and just opened. Super easy to hit.
Ps the way you all say Nike is bothersome when I hear it in videos from across the pond
Great video. Wish you could have tried the Nike Vapor driver.
James it’s nai-kee. After the Greek goddess of victory
Vapor Fly driver
James I believe you were looking for Allegedly
It’s pronounced Nik’eee’
I have gamed a Vapor driver…still play CCI irons. Tried to move out of them but came crawling back.
My entire upper end of my bag is All Nike (covert) Driver, Vaporfly 3wood 5wood and covert 2.0 4 hybrid. At the lower end VRpro GW and everclear putter. Love to see Nike back but highly doubt they will.
Used to game a set of slingshot irons. I still rock a Nike bag. I'd try Nike before I try PXG.
If Nike come back, buy an old brand like Maxfli or Wilson, and relaunch with a golf mixed brand. I know the swoop is so important, but remember Tiger had TW all over the Nike clubs, so you can mix brands.
Video sponsored by golfclubs4cash … "Couldn't find a nike putter anywhere …" … golfclubs4cash – "what am I chopped liver?"
I had a set of Slingshot irons and a Vapor Pro driver for a few years. I just think Nike are simply a money making business and took a business decision rather than pumping money into golf to try and improve it. It's all about the $$$ for Nike
I love NIKE as a brand. So when I first got into golf I went NIKE. I have Pro Combo irons. Still. The SQ Driver. 2 VR drivers. 2 Covert Drives. VR wedges and a Method putter. Just recently brought the irons back out to lay. But to old now and to slow a swing speed. Haha.
I will still bye nike golf clubs today
I had the sling shot tour 15 and 18 degree hybrids they were amazing, don't think I've found anything better since.
I'd love to see if you could get an old Lynx Black Cat that Freddy Couples used to game.
James…. You need to do a Video with the Older Adams Clubs…. They were ahead of their time.
Nike, not Nikie… Nike hit the market with a shoe when i was in Jr High in the 70s. The Waffle Trainer with a red swoosh. We called them Nike then, and they are still Nike today. Like, Bike, Hike, NIKE! Right?
Thanks for this one James and Gaz. Never had any of their clubs but those Vapor irons are sweet.
I pulled a Nike 4 wood (steel shaft, the best setup for these clubs at the time) out of my garage and played a couple of rounds with it this year. Vert handsome dark blue finish, and goes like a monkey climbing a tree when you strike it well. When you strike it well. My Ping G410 5 wood carries farther and is so much easier to get up that there is no comparison.
20 years ago, though, I could hit 220-230 bombs from the ground with it.
I tried a Nike 3 wood, same style, with a graphite shaft a couple of years later, and it basically sucked. So there's that.
Nike stopped making clubs in 2016, and the Paradym is 2023, would love to know how they would hold up id Nike had the Paradym's Tec or PXG's in it, i would think you would be talking about 2o to 30 yards?
Had Nike's first "Blue" driver, Ignite, Covert Pro and Vapor drivers. Really enjoyed the Ignite and Vapor drivers.
Have a Nike concept putter. The real
Funny looking one and I had a Vapor fly iron set
If you cant rob people flogging golf kit you're in the wrong business..🤣
I still play 2 Nike wedges, more due to expense than anything else.
🔥🔥🔥
I have a Nike Covert driver. It sounds like a gunshot when it is hit hard. Turns people's heads at the driving range. I still play with the SQ irons.
if the second hand market wasn't so expensive, i would strongly consider a set of nike vapor fly irons. they look so cool
I had a chance to buy a full set of Nike forged irons brand new in 2020. Im kicking myself that I didn’t. The problem is now though that nike clothes and shoes are garbage. I was all in on their shoes and shirts for years then when they pullled out the clothes went to shit and the shoes are super uncomfortable
I got some second hand Nike pro combo irons for £85 on Facebook, 3 to PW and they are so good, sent over to Spain so they can be my irons when I’m playing over there

I have a Nike Sumo driver. Still have it but don't use it anymore. Have a Cobra driver now.
I still use a high launch sq driver( not the square shape) as my 3 wood off the tee! It is fantastic. I have a ton of confidence in it and just can’t get rid of it! If I have to put a ball in play off the tee I have to hit it!! I can’t explain why it is so good
I won’t buy anything Nike anymore. They don’t stand for my beliefs so I won’t support them. They also have child slaves in China work in all their factories while preaching that their company is holier than thou. They are one of the most hypocritical companies in the world!
That’s why I laugh when Rory goes on about Saudi human atrocities as he’s a Nike paid stooge and Nike and China have exactly the same atrocities.
I haven’t bought Nike anything in about 5 years and I never will again
Still have my 3-pw set of neon/black Vapor Pro blades. Don’t play them any longer but they are a great novelty piece
Very curious on the numbers for the unreleased nike woods and where they would stack up against the current models. And alsoI think nike had some innovative ideas, like the modern muscles on their blade irons and wedges, you see the same muscle design in ping and mizuno irons. Also the carbon fibre wrap on the paradym is similar in concept to the nike flex 440 driver which had a full resin body and titanium face, and actually I had some decent numbers using that driver.
My first set I ever bought was a full set SQ irons and woods. I had a couple Nike putters over the years too.
What about Hogan clubs?
