Strider reminds me more of a young Pedro than JV tbh
Verlander has allowed 329 career homeruns not 29.
Strider modelled his two main pitches after deGroms after seeing how similar his fastball was post tj then chose to add a power slider like deGrom and it plays. Im quoting him not trying to diss Pedro.

I think it’s a little premature to compare these two pitchers. Let’s see Strider pitch a full season before we start writing his HOF plaque.
