  1. Coco did not behave beautifully, it is not yet clear in what form you will be 35 years old and how you will play thanks to Pepe that he at least helped you win the tournament, otherwise I would have collected 250 garbage cans

  2. CONGRATULATIONS to Coco! Really proud that you stood up for yourself to that bad chair ump. I'm pulling for you to win your first Slam! You go girl and continue to do your thing! Peace and love

  3. Coco is not going the distance with that attitude. I like her a lot but u need to respect your opponent as a sportsman, that’s all!

  4. That Umpire should be investigated. Did she think the savy NY crowd would not notice her con game. We are use to con games.

  5. I don’t think the umpire was as bad at as people are making it out. That said, I think in trying to cater to Laura’s slow pace, the timing issue became more and more unfair to Coco especially when it came time for Coco to serve and Laura literally had her back to her. At that point is was appropriate for Coco to address it and the umpire did become more strict about it as it was addressed yet continued. It was getting beyond the point of reasonable… especially as the match was dragging on and IMO Laura was doing it intentionally to break the pace of the game and particularly Coco’s pace when she was doing well. Like the way Laura plays (very skilled and varied in pace) she also seemed to be trying to control the pace between points… Not to mention, you could tell after the first set that Laura was getting tired and had lost her edge and frankly the time between points is not just do as you please “break time” especially when your opponent is serving. Rules clearly state that you must be ready for the server and play at their pace. Anyway, regardless of the silly drama, Laura played very well particularly in the first set and Coco eventually got into her grove and solidified the win.

  6. ….not a fan of Coco Gauff at all there's just too many other players that have natural talent that are more exciting to watch !!! …lets see how she does when the Creme la creme is remaining…..

  7. I don’t think you were patient. You were controlling your anger that came out ultimately. You had a mocking smile right from the first set which shows no respect for a senior elder player. You are too young to understand but your box was old enough to understand. Sad that age doesn’t matter anymore.

  8. she was ranked world No. 1 in women's singles for a women's record 377 weeks, and won 22 major singles titles,[7] the second-most in women's singles won since the start of the Open Era in 1968 and the third-most of all-time. In 1988, Graf became the first & only tennis player male or female to achieve the Golden Slam by winning all four major singles titles and the Olympic gold medal in the same calendar year.[8] Furthermore, she is the only tennis player, male or female, to have won each major singles tournament at least four times.
    Steffi Graf 🐐

  9. Congratulations! You continue to speak up for yourself. Unfortunately, being who you are & what you represent you will continue to have these experiences. Please remember its not you, they are afraid of your Black Girl Magic❤❤❤❤

  10. So is Coco being Black at least potentially why Siegemund wasn't called for time until the 3rd set? I mean, is it at least possible?

Everything isn't about race; however, some things are.

  11. Siegemund sat down during a game? She should stick to doubles, sounds like she can’t keep up with singles anymore and had to resort to gamesmanship
