Finally! I met Kashi from @persianyoga 🙏🏻 I’ve not been overly exposed to the Persian form of wrestling training called ‘Palhavani’.

This was my first meeting with an actual follower of the original tradition and I must say that I’m impressed. We went through a tough workout which incorporated many different tools and modalities challenging strength, mobility, agility, balance, and coordination. In this video you’ll see me attempt the 32kg pair which Kashi gave to me as a challenge (something I feel like he likes to do haha). I succeeded for one count. This is the heaviest Persian Meel I’ve ever swung and it felt great. Hoping to meet again this time in Australia to get a few more counts in with these beasts 🤯

A big thanks to @persianyoga for his generous share of knowledge and skills. What an amazing world we live in ❤️

    the indian are so funy, they feel to be somebody by steeling others culturs. so funy. they have not even have a zoorchaneh. The Parsa living in India are the most powerful people there, even in chef of indian military is a Parsa. aftter arab invasion of iran many Parsa leave Iran towards india an made India a cultural land. yes thruthtruth heards sometime. If you are not sily coming with polemic coments and study history you wold be a better person.

    we use them in "zorkhaneh" for example "pouria vali" who was a Iranian hero has practiced by it
    it's in shahnameh too and also hakhamansh
    I don't know indian people have something like this or not
    but we have this and we still use it for practice in places like "zoorkhoneh"
    Iranian are Persian (just Iran 🇮🇷)
    they aren't Indian!! just search about it we have a rich history that Arab couldn't destroy it(according to some comments) and we still say women life freedom bro because we're looking for freedom and we'll catch it

    Hindus crowding the comments with BS. Iranians are descendants of the Sintashta peoples of North Western Asia who had the swastika. Nothing to do with the Hindus in India. Those people are mostly dravidian. Yes we ruled Indians for 1000 years and Persian was the official language in India but it still didn't help tho with their accent.
