The 2023 US Open main draw runs from August 28 – September 10 in New York City at the USTA Billie Jean King National Tennis Center. The tournament takes place for the 143rd time and is the fourth and final Grand Slam of the year. Last year, Spain’s Carlos Alcaraz and Poland’s Iga Swiatek claimed the men’s and women’s singles titles. It was both players’ first US Open title, with Alcaraz winning his first Grand Slam title and Swiatek winning her third Grand Slam title. This year, at the US Open, we’re set for another historic tournament as the world’s best tennis players head to New York. Some of Wu's fans were high-key annoying af during this match… screaming the equivalent of "Take his a** out!" in Chinese after every point. Disrespectful and disorderly honestly. Glad I wasn't there in person. On the other hand, let's go Yibing!

Great win from Wu, glad that his heart held out, since that had been a worry in Washington and Wimbledon. He played out of his mind in sets 4 and 5. Will be interesting to see him play de Minaur, whos obviously very different to Lajovic in style. With his draw, r4 is definitely possible if he plays like he did today in those later sets.

Wu has so much racket head speed in his forehand. It's just amazing to watch. And he hits it with so much ease. It's Fed like. If he can just get a little more power from his serve, he would climb to top 10 easy.
