Yes finally!
I disagree with Ben we have not made any improvements losing to Ipswich at home is very very poor! I see us going down if this poor form and team continues in the same way.
Is this the first podcast of the season? Did I miss sth? How are the new players doing. Saturday was the first I saw of us this season. Cook was very good in defence and Smyth was dogged down the right. Cilback looked handy when he came on, but ofc they might be good for a few games and then not so good. Or not. If Kev and Ben are so keen on a striker, who would they recommend?
It seems they have this idea that they will not load the players too much as not wanting to have the injuries pile up as per previous seasons. However I would of thought if you are not fit enough to last 90, 100 mins then you will be susceptible to getting an injury. No excuses to not being 90 minute fit at the start of the season.
Still carrying to many not up to it Dozzell over 60 games no goals very few assist, can't tackle can't head can't create, uncle legs gone, kakay gives he's heart but not good enough, weak squad, need another forward, midfielder, right back, still going to be a long season no strength in depth
1 win in 17 at home!! Still have to lose this exceptance of defeat
Ipswich fan here i thought you played well and will be fine i rhink 1-1 would of been fare. Good luck for the rest of the season.
The look so fragile I always get worried that they could burst while playing around and climbing on top of eachother. Am I the only one who think like this? 🥺🤗
Kevin G seems markedly downbeat in this pod after what most of us would agree have been two impressively improved performances v Cardiff and Ipswich, which could, and probably should, have yielded 6 points rather than 3. Though I do agree that we need to strengthen the squad further, especially up front, and also take his point about improving our possession stats, he ought to acknowledge at least the clear added value of Fox, Colback, and Smyth in stiffening our spine and speeding up our attack, and he also seems to be overlooking Leicester won the Prem with an average of 43% possession. We're still a work in progress, clearly, but equally there are some positive pointers. Cheer up, Kevin!
I thought Ian Mac was as miserable as Sin…like Morrissey on a bad hair day!
Any news on our new DOF? 🙁
Mason Greenwood on loan as a striker? With a pay cut, of course.
As an Ipswich supporter, I thought that QPR did pretty well, but we had as many clear cut chances, and dominated possession. We are stable and the stability we have, is a massive positive factor in the Championship this season. We are going to be under estimated by a lot of people, and that suits us fine. We are also extremely fit, and that is a factor in some games. I really liked the look of Sinclair Armstrong, a real handful, and the double post was unlucky but the GK made a finger tip save. It could easily have been a draw, but we will take the win after so many cases where we have drawn in the last year when we should have won. Great crowd, great atmosphere.
Good to see everyone back.
Hi great to see you back great vlog 😀
Well Ian's on a downer. Cheer up pal.
Surely we need to talk about Taylor Richards.
totally agree with kev regarding a striker, how can we not have a recognised season pro to play or cover dykes, its insanity and just not fair to rely on armstrong at 20 years old
dozzell and kakay stealing a wage
The sound quality of this podcast is so poor I’ve had to sack it off after 10 minutes, the high pitched constant whistle has given me headache. Once a ranger always a ranger 🔵⚪️
Kevin: Need more strikers
Also Kevin: Loan out Sinclair to a League One team
We have one week to get someone in to score the goals to keep us in this league
I was at the Bush Saturday and it was clear the Rs tired after 70 minutes. The issue is not the players fitness as Ainsworth has brought in his own fitness coach. It’s the style of play. We (Town) played a lot of teams in League One last year and we saw the same pattern many times.
You guys end of season were saying Armstrong needs to go out on loan. …😅. Now you're not telling us that !! Lol. 😂. Armstrong is gonna have a blinder here at QPR this season.
Even when dykes is fit he doesn't score
Firstly..Great to have you back.
I echo what the Ipswich supporter replied. We will burn out after 70 mins if we are constantly pushing on the counter attack. The only way to win currently is to score several goals before the fatigue sets in. Basically it's not very good, maybe this is what and where we are. We have a squad who can play only a 3/4 a game.
Tough season ahead, but hopefully September will be good, once we find a set rhythm to play at.
Good to see the team back 🙌. Im more optimistic after the recent change of style on playing football, did we really need to release Stefan Johansen? Who was often on the wrong end of 2 vs 3 in midfield?
What a bunch of miserables sods you lot are 😂😂😂
Gallen should offer to mentor Sinclair Armstrong.
Good question Kev- what IS happening with Willock? For one reason or another, he hasn't put in a performance for nearly a year now. His market value has plummeted and there seems to be no sign of him recovering his form under Warburton/Beale. Very worrying.
Any news on the next owners of QPR?
I think we will be under new ownership very soon.
The current owners want out of QPR.
The sooner the business is sold to people who know what they are doing the better.
We cannot continue with the current owners any longer. The whole club needs new a massive lift.
Sad to say it's not a good feeling being a QPR fan right now.
The sound quality is terrible, shame coz I really like this podcast
