Watch Meninga, Belcher, Jackson and Linder take on the Johnny Lang-coached Easts Tigers on Easter Sunday (April 22) back in 1984. Big Mal returned from a stint with St Helens in England to play his first game for the Magpies in 84 and he didn’t disappoint. The Tigers, at the time, were the reigning BRL premiers, having defeated Redcliffe in the 1983 GF.
