In this episode of Bro Labs, we do a pain and damage comparison test with flexed muscles versus relaxed muscles. The results of this experiment were quite surprising!

  1. watching him hit the nerve in both arms literally got my dying 😂💀
Edit: seeing mark miss and hit him when he’s not flexed just added the cherry on top 💀💀💀

  2. I always figured it's more muscle mass per volume/area of impact when it's flexed so the blow has to transfer momentum into more… stuff making it less destructive for each impacted part . Tho ligaments should get more load which is negligible.

  3. Man, surprised mark kept his arm intact after that intense arm wrestling match… mans locked arms with as much energy as a nuclear bomb and survived, astounding.

  4. Hey if you find this I want to know your work out routine and how often do you change up that routine and your diet because I’m trying to get back in to shape and I’ve noticed that you’ve been cutting to make your muscles pop I want to know what you do so I can replicate

  5. I believe this happens because if your body is tensed up when hitting something, all of the energy is being converted from you into that surface way faster causing more damage because it’s a hard surface against a hard surface. If you’re relaxed and slam into something, that force is dispersed across your body and let’s the energy slowly release instead of it happening all at once. Like a balloon hitting a wall- it flexes and bounces off instead of a rock which would instantly stop and break. Which is why you’re told to be limp when impacting into something.

However when getting hit by something it’s the opposite. Not flexing let’s that energy travel deep into the tissue and that energy is hitting directly through the surface it hits. Where if you flex, all of that energy is being dispersed across the upper surface of the skin. The body works in crazy ways. Although this is all just what I think based on my own experience.

  6. I have heard something that drunk drivers are more likely to have less injuries than people that aren’t drunk because there muscles aren’t as “tense” as the non drunk driver.

  7. Awesome amd funny as allways bros! Mark is getting more and more hilarious and i love how the asian hands out the precision punishment. Keep it up guys!

  8. I think i need on this show…i'm weak as shit, so i'd make a PERFECT weapon…I can hit you full force and you'd never have to worry about real damage lol

  9. hello mister jones I'm your fan from Indonesia I've seen your impressions starting from 2018 it's just that I'm sorry to see your body builder content which is very extreme, I hope you are healthy when you are creating content

fyp- because your face looks like my brother

  10. Flinching is good with blunt forces but if you were being punctured (little-dog bites) itd be better to not flinch, as flexing the muscle and putting tension in it will make it more likely to tear. Think about cutting through a rope with some slack vs with none. The tenser one would fray more i would think
