  1. Fan Base is NOT unhappy with LIV … Fan Base, because of Jay Monahan, doesn't have a real TV contract with LIV. Only really available on LIV+ in real time… Where do you get that the fan base is unhappy??? Fan base loves watching good golf PERIOD….

  2. Why are you questioning Brooks Koepka’s desire to be on the Ryder Cup? Do you think the LIV guys are less patriotic and competitive? I guarantee the LIV guys that could be considered: DJ, Bryson, Gooch, Reed would all love to be part of the Ryder Cup team.

  3. PGA Tour players like MONEY… PGA Tour need PIF for their money .. Player are unhappy with not being consulted …

  4. The team wanted brooks
Because he deserved it. Regardless of what Boom Boom says He was the obvious pick for most people aside from the aristocracy confusing some over thinkers.

All Scottie especially cares about is Burns imo. But like most of the team Brooks was a no brainer in his mind.

I can really see Harman and brooks doing some damage together.

Seems There might be one pod on the US team, if that, the rest are BFF pairings this time.

No one is ‘phoning it’ in because they did not get something they want. You guys really don’t understand how athletes think. Did you guys play sports in high school or at any level ?

No one cares about the rank and file. But whether they believe it or not what pif is doing is good for them.

And btw u don’t have to keep promising when you will wrap it up…we can see on the red line you are still 8 minutes from wrapping it up.

The whole team is going to Rome very soon. It was mentioned by Zack yesterday. Koepka will do very well because honestly he won’t be feeling as much pressure as y’all think.

You guys make some good points but when you fall short sometimes is when you think that because you are both in agreement you cannot be wrong. Obviously you can.

Brooks is in because he was 7th in the standing playing 4 events that counted this season.

Zack won’t hear the end of his JT pick and some others. But that pales in comparison to what would happen if he kept brooks out after what he did in majors this season.

It’s really that simple. We don’t need to overthink everything.

  5. Koepka won LIV Orlando ahead of and in preparation for The Masters. I think he'll play well in Chicago as a tune up for the Ryder Cup.

  6. It’s obvious that Bradley isn’t in the Tiger/Sea Island Clique which is why Thomas was picked even though he’s had an invisible 2 years.

  7. They needed an alpha on the team (Brooks) to keeps all those beta's in line!

  8. I thought you got it wrong at the time….the outrage if Brooks was not selected would have been huge…..i am surprised on the backlash against Thomas…but enjoying it

  9. Successful people admit when they get it wrong and that's what makes them successful, being honesty with themselves.

  10. I was surprised you guys didn't think Brooks would make it. I always thought that he would since he almost earned it outright and there is the "good faith" clause in the current PGA/PIF negotiations. I know technically the Ryder Cup isn' the PGAT, but I think a strong argument could be made that if Brooks didn't;t get picked they would be showing undue bias and not operating in good faith.

As for the other LIV golfers the only realistic chance they had was to perform well in the majors, and they didn't quite get it done well enough to make Ryder Cup buzz… so I wasn't looking for anyoof them to go.

  11. Pro Golf thrives on the combination of tradition, excellence, and personalities. These attributes cannot survive separately and golf will destroy itself by arrogantly spreading too thin.

  12. I don’t buy your argument because these guys all get along well with DJ. The Team wanted him because he played well this year in the Majors. ZJ definitely wasn’t gonna take two LIV guys but he could’ve easily taken Brooks and DJ and left Burns off the Team. The reality is that we may never know and if we do it’ll be 20 years from now when someone writes a tell all book. Time to get rid of the picks all together and just take the 12 guys who “earned” their way on to the Team.

  13. Brooks got picked because he was the token Liv guy so they wouldn’t get grilled for not picking a Liv player. If he didn’t win a major and was say 12 on the list, then it would have gotten interesting to see if he would have been picked. Ranking so high made it easier for Zach to pick Brooks in spite of their Liv hate. DJ should have been picked for the same reason why JT got picked. Good past record, well liked, strong name, good pairing ( with Collin.)But the captains are Liv haters so no chance for DJ. Add Bryson, Gooch and P Reed to that list. Brooks didn’t get picked because the team wanted him, except for Harmon and Scheffler. Brooks a lone wolf and not part of the friends circle.

  14. 17:46 Best wishes to the Ryder Cup owners- Dubai Port World Tour the European Tour Group, the PGA of Great Britain and Ireland, and the Confederation of Professional Golf.

  15. Another great show. I really enjoy everything about Brooks. He's going to have an incredible amount of pressure on him at this RC, but I truly think if there is anyone that can handle it all, it would be him. He's special. He's focused when he chooses to narrow it in. I think that is what makes him fun to watch.

  16. I feel like with the mini controversies with Brooks and JT and deserving guys getting left off will be enough distractions under the surface that will give the Europeans a home victory. Especially if the US team falls behind, the issues will resurface and the pressure will be magnified.

  17. Having Koepka on the team placates all the Liv fans out there. Liv fans are more vocal than the normal golf fan. More passionate.

  18. Thomas and Speith are not in good enough form to be on the team. Young, Bradley, DeChambeau and Gooch are all playing better than Thomas and Speith at this point in time. Two of these players should have been selected before Thomas and Speith.

  19. Scheffler said he wanted the best possible golfers and yet at least three more LIV players should have been picked. There is no Ryder Cup this year it’s the PGA Ryder Cup I’m not watching Ryder Cup lite
