Hi I’m Rick Shiels, welcome to my channel RickShielsPGAGolf. This YouTube channel is designed to help you play better golf, also to help you enjoy your golf more!

I specialise in golf club reviews, golf club unboxing, golf club news, golf club head to heads, and all about golf clubs.

I also want to make you play better golf by providing coaching video on all topics about golf, how to fix your slice, fix your hook, help you drive the golf ball longer, hit your irons more pure, hit your irons closer to the hole and help you draw and fade your golf shots.
I will also help you lower your score by chipping better by stopping you duff and thin chips, pitch the ball closer and also create backspin. Also I will provide you help to putt better and hole more putts!

On this channel I also make fun and entertaining golf content based on crazy and sometimes “gimmicky” golf clubs. I like to cut through the marketing hype about products and I like to give you the honest truth about golf equipment.

If you enjoy the channel make sure you hit subscribe and also tap the notification bell so that you are always notified when I release a new video.

  1. Great test, myself clean the clubfaces bettet earlier. Maybe i have some explanation of my differens in approach game that i have tordas.

  2. i would love you to bring back the 5 year driver challenge, 2023 – 2018 which would fit perfectly after your 5 year driver challenge beginning from 2017

  3. I keep my kit clean. All of it. Clubs before I play as well as between shots with damp and dry towels. Common sense, surely? My son and I never fail to be amazed at the condition some people have their clubs in. Look like they’ve been picked up at a boot sale more often than not. Daft.

  4. I actually appreciated the first thumbnail, commenting to myself how i liked the realistic verson of "dirty" as apposed to a photoshoped disaster. Im not apposed to this technique, as long as it gets you more views. I know you're acutely aware of your thumbnails, and did you see a pump in views with this new one?

  5. If you spend all this money on getting nice clubs why wouldn't you clean them??? It's so quick and easy to do

  6. I always clean my clubs after every shot. I’ve spent a lot of money on golf clubs, downhill ski equipment, ice hockey equipment and I clean and take carry of all my equipment. 🏌🏻‍♂️ ⛷️ 🥅

  7. Great video. But the music from the Meat Church intro is really throwing me off during your simulating. Lol

  8. I've recently started making the bottom half of my towel damp and the top half dry so that I can clean and dry the clubs and ball. Saves having to do it when I get home and am tired and just want to collapse on the sofa. 😁

  9. Rick,
I play in a seniors men league at my local golf course. There are about 50 members, and of those 50 men I am the only one who cleans each club after each shot (a quick couple of swipes with a soft wire brush and a wipe with a damp towel), and I'm pretty sure some of the men have never cleaned their clubs in any way let alone just wiping it off after each shot. Some of my motivation to keep them clean is that my clubs were $3,500.00 plus dollars and I want them last a lifetime or two. And…it helps my psychologically to play better.

  10. Great comparison and I really enjoyed being ‘nerdy’ and getting inside the numbers. If you’re not using the wedge anymore, I could use a good clean one!! Thanks

  11. i just got back from the driving range omg i was shocking lol couldnt hit my driver to save my life i need help man so much help.
