Hi I’m Matt Lockey, welcome to my Coach Lockey YouTube Channel. This YouTube channel is designed to help you play better golf, and to help you enjoy your golf more!

I specialise in golf course vlogs, golf challenges, golf tips, golf lessons, golf club reviews and the odd golf club unboxing. So pretty much everything golf!

I want to help you play better golf by providing coaching videos on all topics about golf. How to fix your slice, fix your hook, help you drive the golf ball longer, hit your irons more pure, hit your irons closer to the hole and help you draw and fade your golf shots.
As well as helping you produce the best long game you can have, I will help you lower your scores by chipping better, stopping duff and thin chips, pitching the ball closer and creating backspin like the tour pros. Finally, I will provide you help to putt better and hole more putts too!

  1. The drill that help me pure my irons better is using an alignment stick in my grip with the long end of the club butt. Object is to not make the stick make contact with my body till the finish of the shot

  2. The best drill that I always fall back to when I’m struggling is the feet together drill. It always seems it makes me swing in balance better. I try to swing as hard as I can with my feet together. Surprisingly you can hit the ball pretty darn well I’ve switch to it in the middle of a round when my contact was so horrible

  3. Been a huge fan of yours for over 10 years ….loved watching you and Mark battle it out ….don't know if I would call it the best drill but I do find if I try and hit a few shots with a towel or headcover in my right arm pit it has always seemed to help me get a better feel for not casting the club or coming over the top as they say ….now it's not full proof and it may fall out but it if you try and not let it I do feel like it helps with not casting the club on the start of the downswing

  4. the split grip malaska drill has become my favorite. To me its much simpler to achieve a similar result.

  5. i will genuinely try this. I have done a mix of these before (speed boat drill type ones), I am a man who does not take divets, unless i fattum. 🙂
