That course is brutal when you add in the wind as well and Paul’s woods shaking like maracas it was always going to be a real challenge. I really enjoyed it and your kind of oh well this is happening let’s carry on. It’s refreshing that it’s not just me has these days when it suddenly goes to pot, though mine is not breaking 90 😂

Stop dropping your clubs though please Paul. I keep giving my son a row when he does that always stating good players don’t show their emotions to their competition or let their frustration affect the next shot. They take the punches and move on.

I’d love to see an experiment where players hit bad shots and good shots and measure there reactions on a biological level. I’m sure they will be comparable, a burst of endorphins and mood effecting chemicals.

As an expert in being rubbish in sand traps, I can say with authority it is either a 1 shot penalty to drop back in the bunker, or 2 shots to drop out 😊

Paul stitched you up big time on the first hole getting you to club down. Going in the bunker in the first place was problem there. Two shot penalty for Paul for giving advice in a ‘grudge match’ (???) 🤣
Stuck with you guys right to the end – just proved to me that even a triple can be recovered from, with the right mindset.

I came, I liked, I commented: You can keep your massive drives or arrowed approach shots. Dans chip bumbling down the hill on 15 might be the best shot I've seen on Youtube. That would give me nightmares on the course. executed to perfection. Great videos again Dan and Paul.
The bunker really exposes poor short game understanding, also playing most of short game shots of the back foot indicates poor short game skills. for sure you wont like what i said. but the golf ball is telling you! hence the golf ball does not lie…ooopppsss

Outstanding video guys. This is a very hard golf course, and sometimes it is very instructive to see two players of your high skill level have to scramble and occasionally get bitten by a challenging golf course, but to continue enduring onward. Thank you both, well done.
Hole 10: what would you do in hindsight? Ignore Paul and hit 5 iron to carry the bunker?
Great vlog. Don't apologise dan, it's been an entertaining vlog. Dan's putting is spot on with long putts. Very friendly golf on the last, both going ob then virtually identical provisionals. Super chip out of the bunker on 18 dan. Can't help laughing at Paul's rattling woods 😂
